Monster Cable engineered the Stereo Audio 200i interconnect cables to reduce noise and keep your music sounding clear and natural. Many conventional cables use only a single unbalanced conductor, but the Stereo Audio 200i uses two separate conductors in a twisted pair arrangement and a separate 100% foil shield. The 24k gold-plated contacts ensure maximum signal transfer and resist corrosion

Product Highlights:

  • length: 1 meter (3.3 ft.)
  • balanced 2-conductor design with 100% shielding for improved music reproduction
  • twisted pair construction for increased noise rejection
  • 24k gold-plated, 6-cut Turbine® RCA connectors with split-tip center pin
  • lifetime warranty

They're good cables but very expensive. What else can you say about cables?

Good Cable

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I used to use the cables that come with the component, and that worked OK. However, when I bought an Onkyo TX 8050 and C 7030 a couple years ago, I thought I'd try what I thought would be a better cable. While I haven't actually tried the really cheap cables and then tried the Monster 200i, what I can say is that this is the best sounding system at this price point I've ever heard. Recently, I up graded my components and interconnect cable, see my review of the Monster 400i cable. The 400i is even better than the 200i and AudioQuest Evergreen.

Pros: great sound and build quality

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am using this cable to connect a Nuforce Udac-2 DAC between my iTunes library on a Mac and my 2 channel whole house audio system. Like all my experience with Monster Cable, it sounds great and is a good value.

Pros: Great sound and does not break the bank.

Cons: None

great cables, definitely recommend them

Connectors are junk!

Written By John S, VT on Sunday, December 16, 2012

Didnt even get to listen to these. The end connectors are so tight I spun the female off my amp trying to get them on. I had to take the amp apart and fix/re-solder the connector. Started to try and connect the other end to my NAD cd player, but then stopped when they started twisting the females on that. I tried to loosen them up with a pliers. No go. Not very impressed with Monster Cable. What were they thinking? Go with the Evergreens. Still a good tight gold connection. But not equipment damaging tight like these.

Pros: No Clue

Cons: connectors will destroy your equipment. This cable can kill a $1000 cd player fast.

Awesome noise filtration

Written By Merritt, Philadelphia, pa on Sunday, October 07, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This cable has exceeded my expectations. Usually when I have my iPod charging in the dock and the audio hooked up, I get terrible noise from the electrical ground. With this cable, I can't detect any when it's charging! This interconnect has definitely improved sound quality as well. Granted, I had cheapo RCS cables before. My bass is now deeper and richer and the highs are cleaner. Can't beat that for $20. The end connections are gold plated and with the twist lock feature they grab on tight. Thanks for another great audio product Monster, and thank you Crutchfield for the excellent service and pricing.

Pros: Clean sound, excellent noise filtration, solid end connectors

Cons: None

This cable will help your music sound full and sweet.

Secure connections; flexible cable

Written By Lynn, Dallas, TX on Wednesday, May 20, 2009

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These connectors are tight! It does take some effort to get them plugged all the way in, but the connection is then very secure. The cable is fairly flexilbe, so it's easy to route around corners. Signal transmission is as good as anything I've tried.

Easy to use Monster
