Hifi quality television sound

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

By connecting a digital television with an analogue hifi system, via a cambridge digital/audio converter connected with optical and these monsters, the television sound is now comparable to the rest of the hifi system. Whereas before only the television internal speakers would provide it's own sound.

Pros: the solution for connecting these components into one working home theatre system.

Cons: pricey but well worth it.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've recently up graded my components from an Onkyo TX 8050 and C 7030 to an Onkyo A 9070 and C 7070, and I thought I'd give AudioQuest cables a try. I used a AudioQuest Evergreen between the A 9070 and the C 7070, in a word horrible. The sound was very harsh in midrange, treble overly bright, miserable imaging. It was really that bad. However, I'm not here to trash AudioQuest. It's a company with a great reputation. I just had a bad experience. I'll probably try them again sometime, maybe. The solution, I plugged my Monster 200i into the amp and CD player, huge improvement. I thought if the low end Monster is this good, maybe the high end Monster is even better. Wow, the sound using the 400i is super clean, natural, great imaging, musical, and there is a smooth or warm quality as well. I really like this cable.

Pros: great sound and build quality, excellent value

Cons: none

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

You can pay a lot more or a lot less for cables, but for the money I think these are well worth it. I liked them so much I bought a second set. The connections are ( I think ) one of the best and the sound is very good.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This product is of fantastic quality. With the gold plated connectors this is the finest cable that I purchase. Just looking at this cable and you know that you are viewing the best. It performs superbly also. When I buy audio or video cable I look no farther than Monster cables from Crutchfield, they never disappoint.
