Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. I installed this cable. It is extremely nice. It is quad shielded and has copper instead of aluminum as the outer braid. But it is extremely thick. I used the clamp on (not the crimp style) RG6 Quad Shield connectors that were on hand but it was very hard to get the connectors on. Monster cable makes several RG6 quad shield connectors. 2 out of 2 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. This is good stuff. It is a thicker RG6 than other cables I've used. It is quite a bit more expensive than the stuff you can get at the "big box" stores but the braids are copper and not the cheap material other companies use. The foil is actually very easy to remove and the center wire is more flexible and does not break off as easily if you happen to accidentally bend it. The thicker cable does make it somewhat more difficult to get compression fittings on but once you get it right, the connectors don't come off. You will pay for the quality but I would definitely recommend this product if you want to use some of the best RG6 out there. 8 out of 8 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Really does provide the best possible picture quality when you use these cables. Make sure you purchase the quad connectors as the others wont fit. Even though the Direct Tv installer said that his cable would provide the same picture quality as the monster, he agreed to use my monster quad for the install. I am so glad that I did not listen to those who said it doesn't matter what cable you use and that their all the same. My Sony 46' Lcd XBR5 and my Panasonic 55' Viera vt-30 plasma pictures both Rock. Pros: Crutchfield has the Lowest Price anywhere... High quality cables, improved picture. Cons: nothing 2 out of 2 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
