Q
What type of connector works with this cable? I am looking for a compression not a crimp style.

Sorry, I am unable to help. I purchased a crimper with the crimp on connectors in a kit. Easy to put on, good connection and signal.

Home improvement retailers sell both compression and crimp style but I prefer the crimp style and reuse the tool for other things. I feel like the crimp style is a more professional use.

My attempts to use compression connectors rated for quad shield cable were frustrated by multiple broken connectors due to the thickness of the shielding. Crimp connectors might actually work better.

Not an expert, but this is what I used, they call it a compression crimping tool??? MONSTER QL-MC-CPRSN TOOL Compression Crimping Tool for Quicklock Coaxial Connectors...and these connectors: Monster Cable 126162 Quicklock RG6Q F-pin Connector. Again, not an expert, and it took a little trial and error making the connection. I wasted two connectors figuring out how they are properly attached, but luckily they came ten to a pack (once you compress the connectors with the tool, they cannot be returned to start position, I did not have all the way on the cable.) Could not have been happier with how it all turned out. I was having constant pixellation problems with certain favorite channels and this completely fixed the problem, not one issue since.
