I had a Squeezebox Touch ("SBT") that I just could not get to receive a strong signal on my home Wi-Fi network. It kept buffereing in the middle of songs... After a few hours of internet forum posting I learned of devices like this one. I added to an order I was already figuring up (yes - for an Oppo BDP-95 - also superb!) and these came to me. I now have a rock-solid signal coming thropugh the house wiring that gets my Apple Lossless iTunes music library from my computer to the network jack on the SBT. Like I wrote - great music - with no (more) drama. With the $50.00 price break (as I also got), perhapos there is a new product on the horizon...? Not a worry for me as all I wanted to get was my music to the SBT. Mission accomplished - highly recommended! By the way - the Oppo BDP-95 also has a (barely) documented - but disclaimed as not supported by them in the owner's manual - network music stream receiving capability. It seems to know of only about 50 songs from the over 2700 in my music library. More to do if I want to see why, but the SBT is already doing what I need... I dealt with both Ziggy and Paul and they are both great reps - answered my questions - Brent in Tech Support also. I bought my first item in 1977 when a First Year at UVA and when Crutchfield was in a garage over on Hydraulic Road - a Bosch 15" flexible boosted FM antenna - for my 1969 Chevy Nova SS. I've only been using the Monster for a short time and I'd say it was pretty easy to install and use. So far it has been very reliable and hooks up to the Internet almost immediately. The lights give you an indication of the speed (green, orange and red) which I thought was helpful. The house I live in has more than the usual power outages so the surge protection was a must (direct connection via the ethernet cable to computer).
