Built-in controls for iPod®, iPhone®, and iPad®
A three-button remote control built into the headphone cable lets you conveniently answer and end calls, control the volume of your calls or music, and pause, play, or skip through your songs. You can even take calls on your iPhone hands-free, thanks to an in-line microphone. The high-quality mic and sound-isolating design of the headphones combine to let you hear and be heard clearly.
Made for on-the-go listening
Solo HD's compact, tri-fold design and light weight make them easy to take along when it's time to make the party progressive. Beats even includes a soft padded carrying case for safe storage when you tuck them into a bag, suitcase, or jacket. Plus, these headphones come with two removable cords — one with the in-line remote/microphone, and a standard headphone cable. Each cable offers gold-plated contacts at both ends for maximum signal transfer and corrosion resistance.

Inline Remote/Mic: The Beats Solo HD's cable has an in-line remote control and microphone. The remote is compatible with select iPods, iPhones, iPads, and other brand phones (functionality varies by model for brands other than Apple). With the remote you get on-cable control of your music, as well as easy, high quality hands-free phone use. You have quick-access music playback control without having to dig for your iPod or iPhone. Plus, the high-grade microphone and high-resolution, sound-isolating headphones combine to let you hear and be heard more clearly than with your cell-phone to your ear.
