Experience clear, dynamic sound from your home theater system with Monster's XPHP™ high-performance speaker cable. Monster developed their patented Time Correct® windings to ensure that the signal stays accurate as it travels down the wire, so you'll hear the cleanest sound possible from your system. The Magnetic Flux Tube® construction helps break up magnetic fields caused by current flowing through the cable's conductors, resulting in smoother, more natural sound. And Monster's special dielectric insulation material reduces signal loss for greater overall clarity.

Monster twist-on connectors highly recommended.

Product Highlights:

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am picky guy, after doing some homework I choose Crutchfield. Without any regrets! The customer service rep was very professional and helpful in my selection process. The speakers were delivered very fast within a couple of days. The pricing was hundreds of dollars better than any other place I looked. I have shared my experience with many of my friends.

Pros: Pricing, delivery, and helpfull

Cons: none

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Plenty of Monster haters out there saying how over priced their products are or how the speaker wire isn't marked to keep polarity straight but it is, not that easy to see but it's marked... My opinion is that this is a good quality thick gauge speaker wire.... Can you hear a difference? Probably not really but if you are OCD about your equipment like I am, I wanted the best and I feel like that is what I got... I have 7.1 system and over 150' of Monster speaker wire to all my speakers and it carries the juice effortlessly .... Happy with my purchase....

Pros: Quality...

Cons: None....

Horrible Product Description

Written by: Tom from Pennsylvania on December 10, 2013

You know what would be nice? If Crutchfield would list the size of the wire (not the length) in the product description. I had to read a bunch of customer reviews to figure out that this is 14 gauge wire. Pretty important fact to leave out of the product description.

Pros: Brings signal to speakers

Cons: Way overprices.

Crutchfield response on January 6, 2014 Monster doesn't provide a gauge spec for their speaker wire.

overpriced and unmarked

Written by: DK in California from Redwood City, CA on October 11, 2012

This cable has marking that is very difficult to see and no guaranty it is consistant with the polarity of the cable. i am replacing it with a different companies generic cable so I can assure the phase of my speakers is correct.

Pros: Works

Cons: Unmarked polarity, overpriced for what you get.

Excellent speaker cable that IS definitely marked

Written by: JD from Florida on January 12, 2012

This is an all-around excellent cable. It is reasonably priced, 14 gauge and easy to both work with and terminate. Sound quality is excellent in my system.

One thing I want to point out is that, contrary to what the other poster stated, this cable is most definitely marked on the outer jacket. I will acknowledge that it is not incredibly easy to see, but the cable is marked if you look for it. I just didn't want anyway to avoid a purchase to avoid a potential, but non-existent, phase issue. I actually surprised Crutchfield didn't correct this misinformation.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Unless you are in the mood to start doing polarity tests on this speaker wire, don't buy it. The wire is unmarked so that you have no idea what is + and what is -. This can be difficult if you run the wire under carpet or through walls. If you do not connect the wires correctly, your speakers will be out of phase.

The sound is excellent. I bought this to replace aging Monster Cable. My
music sounded more crisp and clear once this cable was attached.

Overview: By connecting your speakers with Monster XPHP 14-gauge speaker wire, your system will deliver a higher level of performance with greater clarity, deep tight bass, improved imaging and greater dynamic range.

Time Correct Windings and Magnetic Flux Tube Construction: Using patented Magnetic Flux Tube construction, Monster XPHP controls distortion-producing magnetic fields for smooth, natural reproduction of the music. Monster XPHP uses Time Correct windings for more accurate transfer of the signal as it travels down the wire. This results in extended high and low frequency response, improved imaging, and deep, tight bass. A Special LPE (Linear Polyethylene) dielectric insulation reduces signal loss for greater overall clarity in the music.

Flexible Jacket for Easy Installation Monster XPHP features a unique round shape that's extremely flexible for easy handling and installation. Its UV stabilized DuraFlex jacketing is abrasion and chemical resistant to keep the cable looking as good as it sounds.
