About the Install Bay 3320

Bob Bihlmayer

Handy tool for car installations

Electrical installation is a tricky business — without the proper safety precautions, it can even be dangerous. Rather than risk your new gear, why not use a multimeter to test your connections before throwing the switch? A multimeter measures current, voltage, and resistance — it's a handy tool for car installations (especially car security systems). The Install Bay 3320 is a high-quality, easy-to-use digital multimeter, perfect for chores around the home, workshop, and garage. It's designed for accuracy and convenience, with a rugged exterior casing and protective rubber corner guards that will stand up to just about anything the job requires.

This meter measures eight functions including AC/DC voltage, current, and resistance. And the 3220's auto-ranging feature makes it simple – it sets itself to the correct range so there's no need to twist an "old school" dial to the right setting. The package includes test leads, holders, and a stand. The 3320 is a handy, reasonably-priced tool you'll use over and over again.

Note: The Install Bay Digital Multimeter cannot be used to safely take measurements in high-voltage systems in electric or hybrid electric vehicles. A Category III meter rated for 1000 Volts DC will be required.
