Q
I have a 2008 Honda CR-V with stock radio. Is there instruction on how to wire this to the existing wiring. Existing wiring is faded and not striped, etc... ?

A common wiring harness from Metra should do what you need. I shouldn't matter if you're factory harness is faded, you'll just be connecting two multi pin connectors one from Metra and one from your Honda. Like puzzle pieces that only fit one way. The splicing of wires will be done between the head unit and Metra's harness, both of which should not be faded.

Thanks for your question. I'm not showing an antenna adapter available or needed for any 2004 Honda CRV model, LX or EX. For additional details on fit or installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on what you will need for an installation in your vehicle.

Confused about the Ridgeline antenna adapter. I too connected it to the blue wire from the factory harness... no reception at all. Can you please tell me where it connects to? I did purchase this from Crutchfield.

Q
Conflicting answers, so I thought I'd ask here. Is the blue wire needed if the vehicle does not have a power antenna? I have the blue wire connected to the included adapters blue wire, but get no radio reception (no power antenna either) I've seen others say it needs connected to the red wire, and others say to the blue/white wire.
