Doesn't work on Pathfinder

Written By clayr, wilmington, nc on Tuesday, January 31, 2012

The product is fine performance-wise, but the description should include that it will not work on a Nissan Pathfinder. There is a metal heating duct (or a brace-not sure) behind the radio unit, which is bypassed by the stock antennae cable's L-shaped design. This adapter cable, when plugged into the radio, does not allow the radio to fully seat into its proper place. You will need an L-shaped connector for the pathfinder.
Pros:
other than the design issue, it works fine!
Cons:
Does not fit 2007 model Pathfinder.

Can it get any easier...

Written By JimmyT, So. Cal. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Great info on the site, great pricing, and works exactly as advertized...!!! Best of all was the fact that nearly every page on the site is filled with tips and hints from folks with a level of expertise that would be hard to match!!!

Turns out I didn't need it

Written By Kiki's spouse, Munster, IN on Monday, September 26, 2011

Several years ago the factory power antenna failed and a mechanic replaced it with a fixed mast. I didn't realized he changed the whole cable so I already had a standard antenna feed and didn't need this adapter. I assume it would have worked fine.

Antenna Adapter

Written By Johnnie, Richland, WA on Monday, September 12, 2011

The product works fine, but like another reviewer I wish it had only the needed radio connector for a more customized solution. I needed the male connector and now have the extra female connector to insulate and secure.

Worked fine for my 1990 Nissan D21 pickup and Sony DSX-S200X.

Why the extra lead?

Written By Steve M., Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, July 02, 2011

This adapter worked fine for connecting the new Kenwood KDC-348U to Infiniti's proprietary antenna connector, but I have to wonder why they had to provide both male and female radio-end connectors. Yes, I know, some aftermarket radios have male leads, some have female; but, this configuration makes it just a bit harder to find enough room under the dash. I zip-tied the whole thing together to shortened the overall length and to keep that extra lead from just flopping around. A lot of extra wire and hardware just to avoid having to inventory 2 different adapters - I would design this with a single, male end- connector for the radio and provide a female-female sleeve for those radios that have a male-end antenna connection.

works good

Written By David S, Avenel NJ on Sunday, April 17, 2011

Works good, two are needed. After both were delivered, the bag has a number for both adapters as a kit. Why did I pay for two. I would think the kit would have been cheaper.
