This product works like a charm. The instructions are clear with one exception...what to do with the negative dimmer wire...didn't know if I should ground it or what I called the support folks and was told to just cap it. The display works fine and dims with the headlights on with just the illumination wire connected. This was used on a 03 Mustang that originally had the mach 460 system.

Perfect for 03 Mustang with Mach stereo

This harness worked perfectly for installation of an aftermarket Sony radio.
Installation did not require any further items. High pass filters
were not needed. I used the sub outputs from the radio. They worked
better than full frequency preamp outputs even though they are mono.
You may want to consider limiting your radio selection to one with a true
subwoofer output for this application.

Fit was good, however came to find out it made my aftermarket system sound like a tin can since my head unit and stock mach amps where at different ohms. Ended up having to bypass my stock amps, install a new one and run new wire. Ford did not make this one easy to replace.

Not perfect

I got one of these with my receiver, but when I went to plug it into my car, one of the prongs broke right off. I emailed crutchfield, and they sent me out a replacement at no cost! 5 stars for customer service, 3 stars for harness...
