Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular — see "Accessories."

Features

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

These Metra 72-6514 Speaker harnesses are exactly what you need, Corby. We do a considerable amount of in-person research to compile our Vehicle Guides, something no other company can compete with. If you have the Infinity or non-Infinity package with your 2007 SantaFe these are a great fit if you are replacing your factory subwoofer with an aftermarket upgrade.

Does this harness fit the existing 4 inch roll bar factory speaker wire plug? (The 4 inch roll bar speaker plug is larger than the dash corner/roll bar tweeter plugs.)

From further research (just to be 100 percent sure) I have seen that for the 2011 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab (or extended Cab) that a different harness is required and this one MAY NOT fit my vehicle? Any help in confirming is much appreciated!

I show a different harness for that vehicle in every type of system. It would be the Metra 71-050. You can view it on the website here: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_12071050/Metra-71-050-Speaker-Wiring-Adapters.html?search=12071050&avf=N&skipvs=T. This will work with all speakers with the exception of the tweeters in the dash and the subwoofer, those are wired differently. Hope that helps.
