Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular — see "Accessories."

Crutchfield Speaker Harness: Crutchfield speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Crutchfield speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Crutchfield speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Crutchfield speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Crutchfield speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

These adapters will only adapt aftermarket speakers to the factory adapter. It allows the aftermarket speaker to plug into the existing stock speaker harness. We don't carry the stock speaker harness. That would have to be obtained from the manufacturer.

Will these fit the rear door speakers for a 2011 Kia Optima gdi?

Metra website states that model # 72-7300 fits Hyundai/Kia 1998 and up. However, in application section states for selection models. Also, model # 72-7301 states fits Hyundai/Kia 2011 and up. Also, numerous other sellers of speaker wire adapters state that the 72-7301 will fit all Kia models 2011 and up. In fact, those other sites don't list 72-7300 as fitting the Kia. My advice is buy the 72-7301 harness, or contact Metra and verify.

Sorry, but don't remember if those wiring couplings were used to replace the factory speakers, a pair for both front door Infinity mids in my 2012 sonata with newer loe profile Infinity ones. I do remember that clearance in rear doors is actually less than fronts. My Crutchfield rep was exceptionally good at advising and researching issues .. trust their advice. If you are upgrading from factory, especially in front doors, make installer use sound deadening mask kits, it's not a waste of money, and save post install Rattle and Vibration noise aggravation!

I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport and I want to replace the dash speakers with tweeters however you guys say there isn't a harness for them. So my question is will this still clip into the factory speaker wire clip in the dash so that i canjust remove the quick connections and splice into that instead of cutting the factory wiring? If the clip fits then I don't see why that shouldn't work. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for your question. I'm sorry no. This harness fits the speakers in the front door location and the rear side locations. We do not have a wiring harness available for the Subwoofer location. Hope that helps.
