Metra 82-3043
Metra's 82-3043 brackets will allow you to install select 5-1/4" or 6-1/2" speakers in the factory speaker openings of select 1994-05 Chevrolet, GMC, Isuzu and Oldsmobile vehicles. Please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to confirm that these adapters are compatible with your vehicle. Warranty: 1 year.
Important Note: Some 6-1/2" speakers use a larger frame and require a larger cutout. We call these 6-3/4" speakers, and they won't fit in this bracket. This bracket will only work with speakers that require a cutout diameter of 5-1/8" or less.

Features
Overview: The 82-3043 is compatible with select 1994-2005 GM and Isuzu trucks. The bracket is designed to allow replacement of the factory speakers with select aftermarket 6-1/2 and 5-1/4 speakers. (Please refer to the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector to confirm fit in your vehicle.)
6-1/2 Speakers: 6-1/2 speakers with the 3-hole bolt pattern or the symmetrical 4-hole bolt pattern can be mounted using the tabs around the inner speaker opening of this bracket (if the hole spacing matches).
5-1/4 Speakers: The frame diameter of some 5-1/4s is smaller than the bracket's cutout; in these cases a speaker baffle should be used to seal the rear of the speaker.
Dimensions:
- Cutout Diameter: 5.089"
- Height: 1.47"
- Three-Hole Spacing (6-1/2): 4.5"-4.95"
- Four-Hole Spacing (5-1/4):
- Perimeter: 3.7"-4"
- Diagonal: 5.2"-5.65"

When I opened up the door panel I was very glad that Crutchfield had sent along the mounting brackets. After drilling out the rivets in the original speakers these were a snap to install. Remember to put the speakers in the brackets before putting the bracket on the door panel.
