Important Note: Some 6-1/2" speakers use a larger frame and require a larger cutout. We call these 6-3/4" speakers, and they won't fit in this bracket. This bracket will only work with speakers that require a cutout diameter of 5-1/8" or less.

Product Research

Features

Overview: As of 11/18/14, the 82-8145 is compatible with select 1996-2000 Toyotas and 2013-2015 Mazdas. The bracket is designed to allow easy replacement of the factory speakers with select aftermarket 6-1/2 and 5-1/4 speakers. (Please refer to the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector to confirm fit in your vehicle.)

6-1/2 Speakers: 6-1/2 speakers with the 3-hole bolt pattern or the symmetrical 4-hole bolt pattern can be mounted using the tabs around the inner speaker opening of this bracket (if the hole spacing matches).

5-1/4 Speakers: The frame diameter of a some 5-1/4s is smaller than the brackets' cutout; in these cases a speaker baffle should be used to seal the rear of the speaker.

Dimensions:

  • Cutout Diameter: 5.083"
  • Height: 0.722"
  • Three-Hole Spacing (6-1/2): 4.54"-4.89"
  • Four-Hole Spacing (5-1/4):
    • Perimeter: 3.72"-4"
    • Diagonal: 5.25"-5.675"

Q
can i have link to what the notes refer to as fits 6 1/2 speaker bracket rav 4 1996 rear?

A
We don't actually show a bracket listed for that location in your vehicle. Here is the note from our database on it: The factory speaker in this location is an odd size with an odd mounting hole pattern. You will have to drill new holes for speaker mounting. Panels must be removed to access speaker mounting locations.
