The rest of it fit beautifully and the install looks like a stock factory setup would. I am extremely pleased with the results. Was this review helpful? A few extra wires that were not required for my installation confused me at first, but tech support was excellent and gave me all the right answers right away. Harness adapter is a great idea that makes the self install a lot easier, in fact makes it possible for the car owner, saving some bucks for the overall cost. Was this review helpful? Yes | No 3 out of 5 So So Written By Tom, Washington on Saturday, August 20, 2011 While this kit worked it wasn't great. The bezel doesn't quite fill the dash opening and the rear bracket is too short to be usable. Was this review helpful? Yes | No 5 out of 5 Perfect fit! Written By Ken T, Rosedale, MD on Thursday, August 11, 2011 With the exception that all the pieces are plastic, this kit secured my radio solidly. It also gave my new head unit a professionally installed look by filling any space that may have been noticeable due to the size of the head unit and the factory opening. Was this review helpful? Finished product looked like a factory original. Sturdy mounting, converted receiver into an exact factory replacement mount. Only thing I could see that was a draw draback was that there is no place to mount the rear guide bracket on the Kenwood. This was not an issue as the body of the receiver rested on the guide rail. I would recommend this kit to anyone. Was this review helpful? Reasonably good appearance overall. Only disappointment is lack of method to secure head unit to dash structure. This is only an issue for preventing/slowing theft of head unit from car.
