Quick and easy to install. Fits perfect.
Pros: Quick and easy to install. Fits well
This kit made the Pioneer 5100-NEX Navi unit look stock in the dashboard. It couldn't have fit better.
Pros: Perfect fit
Perfect fit! Used a competitors brand for a different jeep and had to make a couple trips to Lowes.
Pros: Easy to install. Perfect fit.
Cons: Did not come with radio screws and the aftermarket head unit did not include them.
Had to drill holes and use epoxy to mount the radio/receiver in the dash kit. Took several hours. Kit did fit factory receiver and dash perfectly. However, receiver was about 1/4" too large for the dash kit.
Pros: Dash kit fit dash opening perfectly.
Cons: Dash kit did not fit radio receiver. Had to make several custom modifications to get it to work properly so I could mount the receiver with the dash kit.
It fit as it should no problem. Quality plastics, no flex and looks classy. With help from crutch field it is even better. I will always buy my head units from crutchfield. The packages and support is amazing.
Pros: Strong, looks nice, no flex
Cons: Does not fit flush but no dash kit will be perfect.
The only reason o couldn't give this a 5 star is because when you cut the center piece out for the double din configuration the inner bezel doesn't fit 100% flush in all areas. It's a little off. But it's not something that I am upset about.
Gets the job done, But definitely Basic. Double DIN trim insert is very flimsy and doesn't sit completely flat. This interferes slightly with the operation of the motorized face of my Pioneer head unit.
Pros: Ease of install
Cons: Flimsy plastic
Worked well in mounting a double-din in my Dodge Magnum that had a factory navigation system. I'm a little surprised I had to manually cut the faceplate to make the single din a double din, but it wasn't that hard.
Pros: looks as good as new
Cons: a little bit of knife work required
Product install was super easy and looks like it was made for the vehicle.
Pros: Install in less than 4 minutes; Looks perfect
Easy to attach to the radio with minor trimming of the kit. Replaced factory navigation radio and was simple to install
Pros: Easy to install with minimal trimming of the kit
this dash kit could of been a little better design had to do a lot of trimming to make it work in my dodge and there wasn't anyway to attach the tray when you use a double din ,dodge trucks are setup for a double din and the tray under that . but i did manage to get it to work and look good.
Fits Great on 2006 Dodge 3500.
Pros: Perfect fit.
The kit seems to physically hold the stereo fairly secure, however for a double DINN install, you have to use a very flimsy trim piece that never seems to line up 100% perfect. It'll stick out a bit on either side, no matter what you try. It's not a huge deal, but you're kind of bummed at first. You also have to cut part of the bracket if you're installing a double DIN, which can make you a bit nervous if you've never done it before. Also, as someone with little install experience, the directions could have been more in depth.
Pros: Holds stereo well.
Cons: Double DIN install requires cutting. Double DIN trim piece doesn't fit 100% flush. Directions could be more in depth for people that haven't done this before.
My friends can't believe how clean it looks. They say it looks factory.
Pros: Perfect fit! Clean look!
Worked and fit ok.
Pros: It was plastic to make fit better.
Cons: Had to sand some corners to make face plate fit. Had to super glue the faceplate cover so it would stay in place.
Great look and perfect fit
Pros: Easy placement
Easy to follow instructions made for easy installation
Pros: Easy to follow
It a good brakes. But doesn't hold a head unit very well.
This kit has everything you need to mount your new H/U.
Pros: Complete and easy instructions. FREE!!!
Cons: None - It's free
This thing looks horrible if you have a double-DIN receiver. It uses a plastic ring within another plastic ring. The rings do not stay stuck together, and look cheap. You end up with ~1" of wobbly plastic surrounding the radio. An alternate design I found elsewhere used a single piece of plastic for the bezel, and it was tapered inward to provide a nicer finish. Second major issue is the radio hangs off the plastic bezel. It's hard to explain, but the radio arms attach to the inside of the bezel, while the outside of the bezel is what screws to the car. This doesn't provide a very secure mount for the radio. The other design I found has the radio bracket screw right to the car, and the bezel screws on top of that. This means the radio is more secure.
Pros: - None, for double DIN units
Cons: - Cheap, modular design means you do not get a good finish for double DIN units - Radio attachment arms do not secure directly to the vehicle
Good match to vehicle interior for my 2007 Jeep patriot
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Doesn't line up perfectly with dash trim panel
kit looks real neat
Good price and good fit. Simple install
Pros: Very easy and good fit. Reasonable quality plastic
This is a nice multi purpose dash kit. Good quality and finish and the best part it was free with my order! Thanks Crutchfield.
Pros: Nice product.
Cons: None. I did have to do a lot of customization but this had nothing to do with the product just my preference of looking stock. And the fact that I had to make room for a double din.
Product was exactly what I needed. Installed in an 05 Grand Cherokee, I was converting from the stock cd player to a double din touchscreen nav/dvd player unit. Fit was perfect.
Pros: Great fit. Hold the unit securely.
Cons: The only con I have is that for a double din I had to modify and cut the middle bracket out. Nothing major but a specific double din surround would be nice.
This work as advertised.
Pros: Very Easy to install
Cons: Only if you have a double-din you have to cut out plastic.
Very helpful customer service , the product was what i wanted
I absolutely love the way this install kit works and it was a perfect fit for my double din unit and my vehicle. Shipping was fast as always and the support is second to none!
Pros: perfect, secure fit
Cons: none what so ever
Does what it says finish isn't perfect doesn't clip in flush on all 4 corners but it was free with the deck I bought so the price was right.
Pros: Free with decks
Cons: You have to pay if it's not free.
Quick and easy installation for my aftermarket head unit. Several options to fasten brackets to unit.
Pros: Multiple install accessories
Installed easy to the radio. Plastic is flimsy and ill fitting. The faceplate bezel is loose and ill fitting.
Cons: Faceplate bezel ill fitting and loose. Cheap plastic.
Pretty straight forward here. You can't really mess this up can you?
Pros: Does what's intended.
Fits like a glove. Matches my interior well. Easy to install but read the direction thoroughly so you don't break the trim panel like my stupidness did lol.
Pros: easy install. Fit well, looks good in my car.
Cons: Makes sure you have a pair if snips to cut the center support for single din.
I loved it because of the perfect fit to my vehicle
Pros: It meshes smoothly and easy install
Aside from a few minor modifications to the stock bracket in the kit (breaking off plastic pieces not needed) and having to sand them down flush to avoid fit issues, kit worked perfectly.
Pros: Look good, easy installation
Cons: Some modifications have to be made to kit depending on vehicle make.
Excellent product, the stereo looks factory installed/
Pros: Easy, simple instructions. It looks very professional
worked great for 2007 Aspen with Nav
Cons: install instructions werent correct for my vehicle
Basic mounting kit for 08 Dodge Ram 2500 with Nav Reciever. I used components from kit to customize a standard 1.5-DIN dash trim panel in order to mount a 2-DIN DVD stereo unit with a pocket. Not easy for someone with no skills to do so. New dash panel for Dodge was almost $300.00 but my mod cost me approx. $30.00 and several days of cutting, sanding, epoxing, and painting. Used Duplicolor Vinyl fabric paint which is a excellent product.
Pros: Excellent mount for basic mounting
decent dash kit for the price. fit alright and looks decent. didn't try any other brands so i dont have much to compare it to. would use again though
Easy to install but had to cut center out of the single DIN piece.
Pros: Good fit.
Cons: All plastic
Perfect in dash kit for my dodge. Just needed to trim a little.
Pros: Came with single and double din setup with bottom pocket.
Cons: Outside trim should cover the around the dash kit.
Does not sit flush with the dash. The mount kit doesn't hold my pioneer avh -P3300bt correctly. It holds the unit at an angle so that the bottom left corner of the unit sticks out about 1/4 in. Would not get this again. I am replacing it with a custom bezel and mounting kit.
Pros: quick shipping from Crutchfield
Cons: Not a clean for the Jeep. DOES NOT FIT UNIT CORRECTLY
This is a horrible mount! The screws that come with the kit were not long enough so I had to find new ones. The face plate does not sit flush with the face of the stereo and looks bad. I am looking for a replacement.
Pros: It came with the kit. If it was not free I would be throwing a fit
Cons: Looks horrible, poor fit, does not come with long enough screws.
