Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Overall this kit works well and gives an "almost" factory look. The finish is the same color as the 2008 Altima, but does not have the texture effect of the original radio plate. So there is a slight mis-match to the texture of the bezel around the air vents which sit right above the radio. Otherwise it works and looks great! 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Kit installed correctly and wasn't complicated. However, finish does not match factory dash. I had a slight gap on the left side after installed too. Kit will work correctly but the finished look is average. 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. The fit is nice but the feel is sub-par. It has a cheap plasticy feel to it. If you can get past that, it is a great kit for the Altima that adds a pocket in the dash and looks somewhat factory. 15 out of 15 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. There are lots of little pieces. I have a small gap on the driver side. If you have the Optional Digital heater/AC Controls, then you can get the Nissan one that come on the 2.5SL/3.5SL version. But overall, its holding my Pioneer D3 in my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5S. 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Ordered an Alpine CDA-9886 from here for a 2009 Altima 2.5, the model without the factory radio, and this kit came with by default. The way the Altima's dash was set up I had no need for this kit when installing the head unit. If you already had a factory radio I could see posibly needing this kit. The color doesn't look to match the existing dash. 3 out of 3 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? I think in this world today they should do their research to match whatever automobile they are providing parts for. 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. This kit so far bites the big one, but accoding to quite a few people its better than the scosche and other kits. You dont really notice the uneven edges after a while, but while you do notice it, it is annoying, also the radio feels like its not secure, but u stop noticing it as well, the only reason i didnt give this kit 1 star is because it gets the job done and it was free. Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. I have bought 4 radios and countless speaker sets through Crutchfield and this is hands down the worse trim package I have ever had the displeasure of using. The plastic is un-textured so it doesn't match the rest of the dash and is very cheap looking and feeling. It does fit my dash almost perfectly, only rubbing a little on the driver side so it isn't a total let down. If you're not like me and ok with the unfactory look or just need this to tie you over till you can get a custom dash set up it is a great piece in that it fits and holds your radio. If you have high standards for your dash pieces and radios though, this is a must be replaced part. Was this review helpful? Did fine for the first few days after intall untill i got original Nissan's dash.
