Factory Amplified/Non-Amplified Compatible: The Axxess AX-ADGM01 can be used in vehicles with or without factory amplifiers, including digital amplified systems found in many GM vehicles. Both balance & fade control are retained when used with AX-ADBOX1 interface (sold separately). The AX-ADBOX2 interface (sold separately) does not retain fader in vehicles with factory digital amplifier.

GM OnStar/Warning Chimes/Turn-Signal Retention: In conjunction with the Axxess Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately), the AX-ADGM01 helps to retain the factory OnStar emergency services system that would normally be lost when your GM factory radio is replaced by an aftermarket head unit. The AX-ADGM01 also helps retain your GM vehicle's factory warning chimes and turn-signals.

R.A.P (Retained Accessory Power): The ignition power source of many vehicles keeps the radio on until one of the doors is opened. This feature is called the R.A.P. (retained accessory power). The AX-ADGM01, along with the Axxess Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately) is designed to retain this feature.

Factory Bluetooth & Satellite Radio Compatible: The AX-ADGM01 and the Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately) will retain your GM factory Bluetooth & Satellite Radio functionality. The factory Satellite Radio station and song/artist information will be displayed on the vehicle's factory driver information center.

Backup Camera + RSE Retention: When used with the Axxess Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately), the Axxess AX-ADGM01 lets you retain your vehicle's factory backup camera and rear system entertainment (RSE).

Optional Steering Wheel Control Interface: The AX-ADGM01 features a right-angle 3.5mm connector that lets you keep your vehicle's OEM steering wheel controls via the optional Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (120ASWC1, sold separately).

GM LAN 29 Harness: The AX-ADGM01 GM LAN 29 harness is fitted with a 22-pin connector which plugs into the Axxess Auto-Detect System Interface (sold separately), a 12-pin connector that plugs into the Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (sold separately), plus a 16-pin connector and 14-pin connector which plug into your GM vehicle's factory radio harness. In addition, there is a rear-view camera harness (composite video) and an AV harness (RCA) which plug into your GM vehicle's factory wiring and plug into the rear-view camera input and AV input on your aftermarket head unit. There are 7 bare wire leads that will need to be hardwired to your vehicle's wiring and aftermarket radio harness.

i recently purchased a JVC receiver and this was not included with the order I made but I found out just now it is needed to make the universal Axxess connector I did purchase. I need to confirm this is for a 2009 chevy silverado 2500. Also the mounting bracket I prurchased dosn't fit the JVC receiver. it does fit the truck. How do I get the correct mounting bracket for the JVC receiver??

This unit was not a plug and play for my 2013 Silverado. It took a lot of programing to get it to work with my kenwood dnx7160. I current can use Volume, Station up and down and source. Mute does not work.

I didn't actually use this harness.,I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD without Bose. I purchased the DDX 370 and used iDatalink ADS-HRN(SX)-A, the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR, and ADS-HRN(SR)-G. It sounds difficult, I'll assure you I'm no wiring genius. It was very easy to hook up,and yes all of the steering wheel controls work to control the radio. Hope that helped..

Brian - Not sure, my truck does not have steering wheel controls. The package said yes, though. It does work with my OnStar, and mutes automatically. I had lots of leftover wires, it comes with tons of connections. Hope it works for you.
