About the Nissan/Subaru Bluetooth® Wiring Harness

Zak Billmeier
 Add Bluetooth® to your vehicle

 Add Bluetooth® to your vehicle

This harness works with a Parrot hands-free Bluetooth kit to connect your compatible phone to your car's factory stereo system. Find the correct harness for your vehicle, then pick one of these Parrot kits: Parrot MKi9200, Parrot MKi9100, Parrot CK3100, or Parrot CK3000. You're on your way to enjoying hands-free calling in your car.

Remove the plug from the back of your factory radio. The harness plugs into that factory plug, then provides a connection to your factory radio and to the Parrot kit. Reinstall the factory radio and mount the Bluetooth kit, and you're ready to go. When your cell phone rings, your radio or CD player is muted automatically, and the sound from your phone comes through your front speakers. Warranty: 1 year.

Please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.

The Metra BT-7552 is compatible with the factory wiring in the 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek w/ factory GPS but is made for connecting the compatible Parrot Bluetooth phone kits. I hope that helps. My Bio: https://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=5

That's exactly what I have it installed for. I hooked up a Parrot device that would allow me to have Bluetooth connection in my car. I use it to stream music, as well as make/receive calls. Works perfectly for me!
vaishali  May 08, 2016
A
That depends on what Parrot Bluetooth device you are installing. Mine did not have that ability, but i believe some of them do.

Q
My 2013 rogue has Bluetooth but not with messaging.will this harness allow messaging?
gracey  Jan 24, 2016

A
Not by itself no. These harnesses are made for use with the compatible Parrot Bluetooth modules: http://www.crutchfield.com/g_324750/Bluetooth-Adapters-for-Any-Car.html?tp=8395#&nvpair=FFBrand|Parrot Starting with the CK3000, you can utilize their "TextFriendly" service: "TextFriendly: A new feature called TextFriendly is available for the CK3000 Evolution through a firmware update. It allows you to receive and answer texts and emails via voice. After a 6-month free trial period for new Parrot customers (or a 3-month free trial period for existing Parrot customers) a monthly fee is required to subscribe to TextFriendly." You will find this information, and more, by clicking the "Details" tab on the product's main webpage. I hope that helps! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=5

With the adapter from crutch field, It was plug and play. Unplug the connectors from the stock unit, plug the adapter in, plug the other end into the BT unit. Whole thing took no time at all.
