Valet stereo security

A circuit breaker also allows you to disable your expensive audio system, so no one can mess with it when you park in an attended garage, use valet parking, or leave your vehicle for detailing. The breaker accepts 1/0- to 4-gauge wire and features 24-karat gold-plated conductors for corrosion-free connections. You'll need Allen head wrenches to install this circuit breaker. Warranty: 1 year.

Features

Overview: This package includes a T-Spec v12-series, 24K hard gold plated circuit breaker, housed in an impact-resistant polycarbonate cover. The circuit breaker has a rating of 100 amps, and protects your vehicle and electronics without the need for constantly changing blown fuses. If a short circuit occurs, the circuit breaker will safely and instantly disconnect your electronics. A red lever will indicate that the circuit breaker has activated. To reset the breaker, simply return the lever to the normal position. A manual disconnect button is also included to allow you to break the circuit whenever you want. The base has two holes to allow you to mount the circuit breaker with screws or wire ties.

Wire Connections: The circuit breaker will accept either 1/0 AWG or 4 AWG power wire. The wire is attached to the circuit breaker with Allen-head set screws, located below a snap-on removable cover. A 3mm Allen wrench (not included) is required to tighten/loosen the set screws.

It is not zero Gauge that it says it fits it's 1/0 there is a difference . Zero Gauge is bigger than what is posted on there specs . The only way to make it fit is to trim some of the strans off the wire all the way around it and then use a heat shrink to protect the area u trimmed .

The inner sleeve is just like any other device that accepts multiple gauge wire. Remove the inner ring to go from 4 gauge to accommodate 0/1 gauge. Do not over tighten the set screw through. I have found that every company does not warranty stripped out terminals. T-spec, Stinger, Alpine etc.....they all state that.
