About the T-Spec DB-14PN Mini ANL Fused Distribution Block

Buck Pomerantz

Distributes power and ground safely and neatly

T-Spec designed this DB-14PN distribution block to handle the high-current power and ground distribution for two amplifiers, and protect them each with a mini-ANL fuse (sold separately). This hefty little block distributes power from a 1/0-gauge positive power cable to two 4- to 8-gauge amplifier power leads, each routed through a mini-ANL fuse. Then, the same block receives the amps' two ground wires and combines them for a single 1/0-gauge ground cable to your car's chassis. The DB-14PN features a second 1/0-gauge positive input so you can daisy chain another distribution block or amplifier into your system.

Secures all your connections

The set screws for the fuses have specially-designed heads that fit many tools, even a coin, so you will always be able to change a fuse without having to carry around a special tool. Solid black nickel-plated brass construction ensures reliable power flow, and an impact-resistant plastic cover protects your connections from the weather. You'll need Allen head wrenches to install this block.  Warranty: 1 year.

Product Research

Features

Overview: This package includes a T-Spec distribution block for both the main power (positive) and ground (negative) circuits. The positive distribution portion uses one or two mini-ANL (MANL) fuses (not included). The solid brass construction gives you maximum conductivity. The block has a flat-black finish, and is installed inside an impact-resistant polycarbonate cover with a translucent removable cover. The cover has a small footprint, with two holes in the base for mounting with screws or wire ties.

Configuration: On one side, the distribution block has three inputs for 1/0 AWG wire. The center input is used for the ground (negative) circuit, and has two outputs for 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire on the other side. On the main power (positive) side, you can use the 1/0 AWG input on either side of the ground input. There are two individual outputs for 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire. You will need to place a MANL fuse on each output.

Universal Fuse Screws: The screws that secure the MANL fuses can be loosened or tightened with a flat-head screwdriver, a coin, or a 3mm Allen wrench. This makes it easier to change fuses without tools, if necessary.

Set Screws: The wire connections are secured with set screws. A 3mm Allen wrench is required to tighten or loosen the set screws.
