Customer Q&A

5 questions already asked

Q
How long will this record and what happens when memory full?
jaime  May 14, 2019
1 answer
A
Jaime, I reached out to Spyclops directly with your question. There is not a set amount of time, as it is dependent on the settings you use, and the content that gets recorded. The minimum estimate I was given was ~1-2 weeks. that would increase when set up to only record based on motion activation. As far as what happens when the memory is full, it records over the earliest content, so it overwrites in a loop.

Q
Does the system require a regular computer monitor and are they easy to pair?
ann  Oct 04, 2018

A
When connected to your router with internet access, you can use the free EseeNet+ app to remotely view your system from any web browser, iPhone, iPad, or Android device. The network video recorder can also be connected directly to a monitor via it's HDMI or VGA outputs. Q
what is the camera view degrees? some other brands have a 105 degree viewing.
stanley  Mar 08, 2018
1 answer
A
I don't know the degree of angle of the camera lens, but it appears to be a wide angle view, although it is not described as a "wide angle" lens. The manual enclosed with the system makes no reference to the angle of view, but it is perfect for my use and is a nice system.

I have not encountered this error. Are you connecting using wires or wireless (WI-FI)? I would recommend that you reboot the HDD and make sure all cameras are connected, and that all cables are connected correctly. There is a setup menu, but the enclosed user manual does not address all possible issues one may encounter. If you can't solve the HDD error problem, you can find the Spyclops manufacturer online. I found this last year and they answered all my technical questions.
