Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Sturdy construction and connection is easy.

Pros: Sturdy construction and the installation is foolproof, its an excellent value for the price and provided an excellent connection with a little sanding for optimal contact.

Cons: The positive terminal needs a little more red to be more visible, for pros its not an issue.

Nice Terminals

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

these worked perfectly and provided a solid electrical connection. I was worried that maybe the color was some sort of coating/anodizing that would add resistance, but if it did, it wasn't measurable. Nice terminals, reasonable price.

Pros: Easy, reusable ring terminal, heavy gauge, good conductor

Cons: None that I can think of.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Terminals worked just liked they were supposed to. They gave nice clean look and made a nice solid connection. I had to modify center opening making it bigger. I used it on my 4 gauge power wire.

Pros: Nice clean professional look. Solid connection also. Very simple to install.

Cons: Small modification may be needed depending on what terminal is being used for. Still a great product.

T-specs Ring Terminals are Fantastic

Written by: M from Menneapolis, MN on October 21, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These ring terminals are amazing! The price is even better! i used these for my big three. i shopped around for 0 gauge ring terminals and these were the lowest by far and the quality is Competition grade A. from the rubber coverings to the exact true 0 gauge fit even down to the Allen wrench screw that dost strip and is a tight to prevent lose connections. i recommend getting 0 gauge terminals from Crutchfield because the shipping was fast (two days) and customer service was fantastic. Don't be a dummy and get these fantastic terminals for the lowest price possible, from Crutchfield!

Pros: -True 0 gauge for correct fitting -color coded with rubber covering to prevent accidental crossing of wires -Allen wrench screw to assure tight and secure clamping of wires -correct 3/8" terminal hole

Cons: -Coated black paint that should be removed by sanding at connection point

Great product

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The terminals were too big for the slots on my amp, i'm not sure if i made a mistake and bought ones that were too big or if they're gauged for a bigger amp. I have 4 gauge wiring. I had to have a friend of mine do some metal work and thin them down and make them a bit skinnier so i could use them.

Pros: Awesome solid connection Looks way better than bare wires

Cons: They were too big for my amp

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I got those terminals to improve the cleanliness of my build and because this in my daily driver also to decrease the time it takes to remove or replace my amplifier for when I need the extra space. I got these terminals for a Kenwood 7205. This amplifier has a flat power wire connection, instead of the tubular variety. The amplifier lists that it accepts 4 gauge, but it does not accept these terminals. They are slightly too wide. Also a little to thick for the factory bolts to reach all the way through. These terminals aren't overly large, I think the kenwood is just a little small.

I highly recommend these terminals!

Pros: Build Quality, Ease of Use, Appearance, Price

Cons: Doesn't fit all amplifiers (even some that accept 4 gauge.

Customer Q&A

Crutchfield asked
Why did you buy this?

These terminals have a very clean and durable look. I am installing them on an off-road vehicle and need something that will hold up and not come loose due to vibration. [ Danen  Jan 01, 2016 ]
These ring terminals look really cool and are super affordable. For heavy gauge wire, I prefer them to crimp or solder type ring terminals. You may have to modify your battery post, or purchase adaptors. I have the GM style side terminal batteries and just replace the pain-in-the-neck terminal bolts with 3/8" bolts with a jam nut and they work great. [ Danen  Feb 04, 2016 ]

2 questions already asked

The holes are only about 3/8". I used them to connect to a distribution block. I can't remember if it came with a plastic sleeve, I think it did [ KEN  Aug 23, 2014 ]
Yes I have one on my terminal fits no problem [ KERTTON  Aug 23, 2014 ]
Hi Nick, The holes do not fit on the actual battery terminal but they do fit the screws that tighten down the battery cables. That's where I put them. [ MICHAEL  Aug 22, 2014 ]
Yes to both of your questions. [ JAJA  Aug 22, 2014 ]
No plastic tubing . Terminal holes fit over standard 3/8" screw studs but NOT over the large smooth studs on a car battery. [ THUY Q  Aug 22, 2014 ]
Yes they do. [ Antwyan  Aug 22, 2014 ]
Yes they do. [ Antwyan  Aug 22, 2014 ]
they will work with a gm adapter that screws into a side mount battery and they do have plastic covers i used these and works and looks nise [ scott  Aug 22, 2014 ]
Yes it does [ WALTER  Aug 06, 2014 ]
Do you mean capacitor ?Yes it does! [ mauro  Aug 06, 2014 ]
Should work but you would probably need to mount with the ring upside down so it will sit flush. Short answer, yes. [ craig  Aug 06, 2014 ]
Yes [ PATRICK  Aug 06, 2014 ]
To a compactor, I am not sure! If you want to connect to an amp, you will have to shave the brass down to fit! You should be fine, just if you do have to grind down the side it will shave fast so be careful! [ JOSHUA RICHARD  Aug 06, 2014 ]
I used these terminals to connect to batteries & battery switches. I do not have any capacitors in my system, nor have I worked with capacitors for audio systems, so I am not familiar with there shapes. What I can tell you is that these terminals are quite large & well built. I was surprised to see how substantial these terminals are. So... 1) You must ensure that you have some space around your capacitor to use these. They are far bigger than normal crimp on terminals. 2) With normal crimp on terminals, one side is almost perfectly flat with the bottom of the terminal. Example... ------------- ||||||||||||||||| -------------------- With these terminals, neither side is "perfectly" flat because of the large round barrel. ONE side of these terminals is "flatter" than the other, but neither side will fit flush against the top of the battery, capacitor, whatever. Example... ------------- ------ ||||||||||||||||| ------------- [ JOSEPH R  Aug 06, 2014 ]
Yes [ Derek  Aug 06, 2014 ]
