Your amplifier puts out big power and needs low-resistance wiring in order to deliver its power effectively. This T-Spec 16-gauge speaker wire meets all American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) standards for size, resistance, and insulation quality, so you can be sure that your power will flow efficiently to your speakers and subs.
Recycled copper often contains impurities and contaminants from the recycling process that can adversely affect a copper wire's conductivity. That's why T-Spec uses only oxygen-free non-recycled,virgin copper to maximize power flow in their speaker wires. The high strand count of this cable and its special PVC blended jacket give it an extraordinary flexibility for an easier installation. In fact, this speaker wire is so rugged that it's marine certified, too. Warranty: 1 year.

Good, thick speaker wire
Pros: Excellent, Quality Speaker Wire
Works well for powering subwoofer
Pros: - Price - Well made
Cons: - None
Very high quality wire for your sound setup. Great purchase
The wiring was heavy duty, and was easy to cut. They hide better with having a black color. The square and circle casing made it easier to install, especially for people with bad eye sight.
Pros: Different shape of positive and negative wires and black casing. Flex easily
Great speaker wire. It does the job for an install.
Quality of product was as promised with very fast shipping. Product was easy to work with and performed as hoped it would.
VERY GOOD GAUGE WIRE WITH GOOD INSULATION
Pros: COLOR IN BLACK AND WHITE TO MAKE NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE IDENTIFACATION EASY
Great wire, always buy more then what you think you need by 10 feet.
Pros: Nice thick cable and bendable. ReWired my 2014 Nissan Altima front and rear. Love it.
Great quality wire. Gonna buy some more and rewire all my door speakers and sub with it soon :)
Cons: It's too amazing ;)
Wire works great! Great strand and guage
Perfectly made speaker wire. Has white and black colors, also has square and round so you can tell whats positive and whats negative without seeing the wire. True to gauge. Awesome wires!
Pros: Black and white colors. Square and round texture.
Cons: A little pricy, but worth it.
This differs dramatically in quality from the no brand, low spec wire I currently have in my 2014 Ford Focus SE Hatchback at present. Originally I was ignorant of T1 Spec Wire and it's benefits to the sound system operating at its highest performance capabilities. I added a pair of Focal tweeters to my car in a rather unconventional place between the C and D pillars. I called Crutchfield to ask what wire I should use and this was recommended. I was originally intent ordering 20 feet, but after consulting with the Crutchfield advisor I upped it to 30 feet (15 ft each side from speaker placement to rear of the JVC KW-NT810HD head unit) and If I had not done so I would have come up about 2 and a half feet short. It is better to have too much wire than not enough! Otherwise, you will end up having to make unconventional and deviating the runs to your wiring system harness, and that is not acceptable to me. Now I will begin to replace all of my cars 14 speakers with the Focal brand and convert it to T Spec Wire from Crutchfield!
Pros: A stiff but pliable and oxygen free also wire that speaks of quality and endurance!
Cons: None whatsoever!
These wires get the job done well. Easy to install and music sounds good.
This is the best speaker wire I have used hands down. I love having the flat black side on it. Made runnning the wire in cramped spots very easy. Only con is I wish I bought more for the house.
Pros: Nice thick insulation in contrasting color for easy identification.
Good wire - no complaints. Thick insulation that strips easily enough.
Just what i needed; price appropriate
Pros: Worked as hoped
It's nice 16 gauge speaker wire at a decent price including shipping. Not much more to say about it.
This wire is great quality. It is easy to work with and did well as I fished it all through my CRV
Pros: Quality and flexibility
Very good high quality speaker Wire. Heavy duty rubber insulation with quality wire
It's speaker wire, what can you really say? It's durable and with a good pair of a wire strippers it was easy to work with.
Pros: Durable and easy to work with.
I needed wire along with other items for my recent sound system overhaul. My Crutchfield rep suggested this product so I purchased along with other items. Wire being wire pretty much not a whole lot to say other than it is a quality wire with great flexibility for ease of installation. Cost was reasonable with anything I could get local. Ordering at the same time just made it easier to have it all at once.
Pros: Top quality wire and great flexibility for easy installation

16 is fine but I would run 14 gauge [ CHUCK Jan 27, 2015 ]
16 gauge will work. But, 14 or 12 gauge will help with signal loss versus the smaller wire. [ JOHN Jan 27, 2015 ]
