the unit is v.good in sound no skiping even in tough roads or off roads .
But the problem is
1- no DVD audio or mp3 playback
2- the screen not active-matrix enough specially u don't have sccreen angel adjusting.
3- one zone only
4- one input
5- when u shut down the unit the demo still running until u turnet off evry time manully no setting for it !
6- can't read the vedio CD when u put movies on DVD-RW
7- no mpeg photo slide show aviliable
8- u have to pay more than the half price of the unit to take it's feature specially the vital ones like "bluetooth, auxulary-inputs auto detection "
finnally it good unit with very great sound quality with very limited feaatures in playing DVDs.
so its real geniune product.
so if u care foor the sound quality using original CDs and DVDs its prfect for u

this is a great stereo system, the only problem was the molding around my dash, i literally had to shave the plastic around the molding in order for the stereo to fit, if you arent used to putting stereos in, this stereo needs to be put in by a professional for the 2004 ford f-series trucks

Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD
Written By

If you are in the market to spend $$$ on a DVD player indash this is your unit. I have owned the Kenwood unit and the Pioneer puts it to shame. This unit is easy to install and there are tons of extras you can add to it including 5.1 surround. It is much easier to operate than the Kenwood and for XM fans it displays "XM Radio" unlike the Kenwood that is bent on Sirius. The best features are the 6 Disc capacity and Awesome Tuner! Spend a little more you won't regret it!

Perfect fit, Awesome Product

I put this unit in a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado HD and it looks factory. I added iPod interface and a Sirius tuner. I would like the Sirius display to display more info, but it still works great. Does not provide direct interface to GM steering wheel control but I bought a PAC Steering Wheel adapter and it works great. I would reccomend this unit.
