Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may
change functionality results. If you download a newer software
version, you may need to reset the head unit and your iPod/iPhone
to regain functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to
revert to the older software version or wait until an newer
software update is available.
Display: The information stored on your iPod can be displayed
on the compatible Pioneer head unit, including song title, artist name, and album
title.
Search Functions: Just like looking for songs using the iPod
controls, search by playlist, genre, artist, album, or song to ensure easy access
to each music file.
Repeat Playback: The Repeat Playback function allows you to
repeat the current song or all the songs from a specified playlist.
Shuffle Playback: The Shuffle Playback function has three
modes, Songs, Album and All. In Song mode, all the songs in the current list
are played back in random order. In Album mode, the unit randomly selects and
album then plays back all the tracks in that album in order, then chooses another
album, etc. In the All mode the unit plays all songs recorded on the iPod in a
random order.
Charging iPod: When the receiver is on and the iPod is
connected, the iPod is supplied power for playback and to charge the battery.
In addition while the iPod is connected to this player, the iPod itself cannot
be turned on or off; the iPod will turn off about two minutes after the ignition
switch is set to Off.
Note: The CD-I200 will not charge the
iPod touch (2nd/3rd gen.) or iPod nano (4th/5th gen.).
Connection: The CD-I200 consists of a single 6.5' interface
cable with an iPod dock connector on one end and a proprietary Pioneer connector
on the other end. The cable is made to plug in between the dock connector port on
your iPod and the iPod interface port on the rear panel of your compatible Pioneer
head unit.
