Pioneer "Smart" Remote

Overview

Our take on the Pioneer "Smart" Remote

Control your compatible Pioneer receiver with this wireless remote and gain easy access to a wide range of features, including source selection, volume, bass, treble, fader, mute, and more. This remote also comes with a mounting kit, and measures 5-1/16"L x 1-9/16"W x 1-1/4"H. Warranty: 1 year.

Very nice, very well constructed remote. Bigger than the one that came with my stereo(I lost the one that came with the unit) Takes a bit getting used to as the buttons are a little stiffer. Other than that, its perfect! Great price too!

This remote is very easy to use. Feels very solid, robust, and durable. Fits my have perfect without being too big. It is about the size of a Snickers candy bar. I would recommend this over the factory OEM remote any day.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought the Pioneer CD-R55 remote originaly and didnt like the placement of the buttons. Half or the buttons didnt control anything at all. I was looking for a remote for basic functions(Volume,Source,CD changer and Ipod controls). This remote does all these things other than scan playlists with IPod. Glad I took a chance even though I read that this would not work with D3. Does Not Have any navagation control at all. Returned the Pioneer CD-R55.
