I do not know. I bought mine for a Pioneer AVH270BT. I can adjust the volume with it and change the stations on the band it is set to while driving. I am not sure how to use the other functions though but, it works fine for what I need it for.
rick  Jun 02, 2016
A
Might be compatible but will not work unless pointed directly at reciever

I have an Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS DVD Receiver. The steering wheel remote works but not from the position shown. the sight line is not good enough. I may turn it around to the outside at about 4 o'clock where I think it will work, but it will interfere a little with steering wheel function.
jerry  Jun 01, 2016
A
YEs it does work but it has to have a direct line of sight to the radio. If the gear shift gets in the way it might not work sometimes. Great buy if you don't have steering wheel controls
hector  Jun 01, 2016
A
Yes, it's compatible with most Pioneer car stereos. If anything, Crutchfield offeres returns and exchanges.

Yes, it does - at least it did on my Pioneer NEX-8100. Unfortunately, the unit quit working after about six months, and I didn't replace it.

Yes! On the back of the remote there is a volume UP Button and a separate volume DOWN Button. Hope this was helpful !

Yes, just make sure you mount it on the right lower inside of steering wheel if you can to have it as close to unit as possible.

The remote does not have an eject button.
vincent  Jan 27, 2016
A
Hi Michael, No this doesn't have an eject button. Also i should tell you that unless the remote is located on the right side close to where the radio is it doesn't work very well. Unfortunately where it would have been ideal to mount it is where my cruise controls are so this unit didn't work for my application.
kristian e  Jan 26, 2016
A
No it does not, but the function button (bottom left) may be able to be reprogrammed to do so, not sure though.
troy  Jan 26, 2016
A
An physical key for eject, None present. I've paired it with an digital non-cd/dvd unit so never felt the need to check if one of the keys can be programmed to do that function. But from what I see, it is not possible to do so.

does this work with pioneer fh-720xbt?

HI This remote is supposed to be universa . I would check with Pioneer to be sure. My experience was that it was effective only when pointed directly at the unit. Most receivers have a remote included. When mounted to the steatong wheel the performance was inconsistent and frustrating. It should work otherwise. I had it paired with FH X7200BT. Good luck and Crutchfield rocks!

I Installed a pioneer radio and that remote in my girlfriends car for her birthday. It worked well, but I don't remember her radio model number it was a few years ago. My advice . Don't cut the rubber you will need to move around the steering wheel a few times to get it where you want it.

Q
Would this work for AVH-X5700BHS ? Thanks

Hi. It should work but the orientation of the remote on the steering wheel made it function intermittently. Removed? It worked great.
micheal w.  Nov 03, 2015
A
Yes and no. It depends on the line of sight between the deck and the mounting. Mine did not work when attached to the steering wheel of my RV so I just velcroed the remote that came with the deck to the center of my steering wheel and take it off and point to the deck when controlling. My deck is hard to reach in my motorhome dash so a remote is essential.
darrell  Nov 03, 2015

HI mark I'm not sure but there usually is a list of compatible radios on Crutchfield website. Good luck

Q
Does this remote work with the Pioneer AVH-X3700BHS?

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Hope its not too late. I cannot say for absolute certain that it will work with that particular model. But I think if that model comes with its own remote (which nearly all do), I would say there is a VERY HIGH probability it will work for most music control functions. Doubt it will provide any bluetooth support. For me, this remote is so important, it is truly the main reason I buy Pioneer brand car stereos. In my older truck, its quite awkward to reach the stereo controls, and this little wonder makes it so amazingly convenient. Having finger tip control like all the new cars is not just convenient, I think its a major safety enhancement as well to keep your eyes on the road and adjust stereo by "feel" . I would buy this remote if there was even a slightest chance it would work.

Q
Can you answer/make phone calls with this remote if your stereo is equipped with bluetooth?
jeremy  Dec 20, 2013

A
I don't believe so. I sent it back because the stereo I bought came with a wireless remote. Range is limited on this remote. Unless you can mount this on the right side of steering wheel, you might have connectivity issues.
robert  Dec 24, 2013
A
No you can't. I have to press the button on my head unit or set it to auto answer to make or except calls.
