Product Research

Features

Compatibility: This enclosure is designed for a single Pioneer 10" shallow-mount component subwoofer, TS-SW2502S4 (item number 130TSS2502, sold separately).

Materials: The box is constructed of 5/8" MDF (medium density fiberboard). MDF resists flexing and has anti-resonant qualities.

Design: Complementing the shallow subwoofer, this enclosure provides the smallest sealed box volume recommended for the TS-SW2502S4. The UD-SW250D enclosure will fit under the seat of some vehicles. The exterior is covered with black auto carpet.

Terminals: The spring post wire terminals, located on the side of the enclosure, will accept bare wire (up to 10 gauge), pin connectors, banana plugs, and dual banana plugs. Inside the enclosure, a 15" length of speaker wire is attached to the terminal (bare wire at the other end).

Customer Q&A

7 questions already asked

Q
will this fit a 2016 Silverado Crew cab without sticking out from under the seat? Also, what other subs will fit in this particular box other than the pioneer?

Hi, thank you for your question. Based on the information we have for sub box mounting in a 2016 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, the Pioneer UD-SW250D, should fit the under seat location without issue. Due to internal volume of this enclosure, and a strict subwoofer mounting depth measurement, the recommended Pioneer TS-SW2502S4, would be your best bet for all around compatibility. Please feel free to chat with us online or by phone at 1-800-324-9695, if you may want to look into other options, or ask additional questions.

Q
Will 10inch diamond back subs fit in this box?
michael  Feb 27, 2020

A
It is designed to work with the Pioneer UD-SW250D which has a mounting depth of 3 1/8". The box also has a relatively small internal volume at 0.35 cubic feet. What model subwoofer do you have? Do you know any of the specs?

Q
Does anyone know if two of these will fit under the rear seat of a 2004 crew cab chevy Silverado?

A
They should fit under your backseat well just make sure to buy the shallow subs to go in the shallow box

I have a 2008 crew cab Silverado and it fits perfect. I would assume that the 2004 would have the same amount of room under the seat. Only thing is that I have mine on one side of the rear seat because of the hump running down the middle of the back seat.

Probably but dont buy it unless your going to use Pioneer subs, the hole is to big for most other subs. I had to return mine

Q
Will a kicker cwrt10 fit in this box?

A
i'm not sure because I am not familiar with that sub. you will need to check the dimensions such as the mounting depth and the mounting diameter. This box met the mounting depth for the kicker comp RT 10 inch woofer, but I mistakenly did not check the mounting diameter. The hole was too big so my subwoofer would not mount correctly and I had to return it to crutchfield.
vincent  Aug 23, 2017
A
Nope - it's made specifically for a Pioneer sub. The hole is a different size than a standard 10" sub.

Q
I'd like to mount my amp inside the enclosure - how much interior space is usable for such a purpose?
john  Aug 07, 2015

A
None. The free air inside this enclosure is very limited to begin with and sticking an amp in there would make it even worse. Secondly trying to run wires through the box and getting the holes to seal will be a nightmare inducing task. Also the amp would not be able to cool properly and will over heat quickly..
shayne  Aug 08, 2015
A
Your not gonna be able to fit the amp inside.
