degrade POI

Written By pirekity, Pasadena,CA on Tuesday, September 11, 2012
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've update from CNSD-100FM(2009 database&map) because my area has been changed a lot of roads / free ways. Update process is similar to CNSD-100FM (get a password via online with device #), that is no problem.

After update, i can see the splash screen indicates "2012" and "Tomtom trademark", so i assume upgrade was successful. But it is easy to notice that POI is quite degrade.

There are no department stores anymore, most nearest gas station is 200 miles far away. (definitely, 2009 map has it) of course, i can find some school, park and shopping mall near my area, so POI is still functional but lost a lot.

I'm asking Crutchfield customer service, but i'm very disappointed this upgrade. I don't recommend this product if you are satisfied with current map & database.
Cons:
POI search is now unuseful
