Get more out of your music

Are your car's factory speakers sounding less than fresh? Pioneer built their A-Series speakers to be high-performance replacements for your old speakers, designed from the ground up to bring back the life that your music's been missing. You'll be able to enjoy the clear vocals, chunky guitar riffs, powerful drums, and distinct bass lines that have always been a part of your favorite tunes, but have remained hidden behind sub-par speakers.

Built to make your music rock

Pioneer equipped the TS-A6995R 6"x9" speakers with multilayer mica-matrix woofers that stay rigid when the volume's turned up, keeping distortion to a minimum so your bass sounds clean. Each woofer gets paired up with a midrange speaker, tweeter, and two supertweeters to add warmth and clarity to your driving soundtrack. These speakers will sound great running off your factory stereo, but they'll really shine when driven by an aftermarket receiver or an external amp. Don't drive another day listening to tired-sounding tunes, when you can enjoy Pioneer sound quality with these speakers in your vehicle.

Product Highlights:

  • 6"x9" 5-way car speakers (pair)
  • multilayer mica-matrix woofer with rubber surround
  • 1" lightweight diaphragm dome midrange
  • 5/8" PET dome tweeter and two 3/8" PET dome supertweeters
  • power range: 5-100 watts RMS (600 watts peak power)
  • frequency response: 27-37,000 Hz
  • sensitivity: 92 dB
  • top-mount depth: 3-3/8"
  • grilles included
  • warranty: 1 year
  • Our 60-day money-back guarantee

Why replace your car's original speakers?

The speakers that originally came in your car were made from inexpensive materials, designed to create acceptable sound at the lowest possible cost to the manufacturer. If you love music, you deserve better. Name-brand aftermarket speakers deliver fuller, richer sound with considerably more detail and nuance, and they're capable of playing louder and cleaner than factory speakers. Connect new speakers to your factory radio and you'll get the best possible sound from your dealer-equipped system. Pair them up with a new car stereo for a level of enjoyment that can rival a high-fidelity home audio experience.

Great Speakers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have always used Pioneer speakers in the past. These are just simply Awesome. I run these with a JVC Head Unit that I bought from Crutchfield and the Rockford amp and the sound is just stellar, especially for the price the clarity is amazing out of these as well I use these in a 79 Firebird on the rear deck and that's it.... you don't feel the radical motor in the car when I crank the system up, very simple, very few parts, but what an awesome package they make combined I haven't hit these with Megadeth yet, but Metallica songs sounded great with these

Pros: great sound and clarity

Cons: the bass is a little weak, but then again it could be the way the head unit and amp are tuned, this is about as negative as I can say, but the 5-way is just spectacular

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Hooked up these speakers and sounded like one was already blown. Just had to break it in but these speakers pack a punch. So much clearer from the factory speakers. The bass is pretty decent but will be adding a 15" later but amazing speakers overall. Great buy!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Love these sepakers. Upgraded from Boss Audio Riot series and I must say, these are some great sounding speakers! Pioneer has never let me down. The bass without an amplifier is surprisingly deep, while the mids and highs are clear. Can't wait to get an amplifier to power the setup. Paired these with the Pioneer Ts-A1605 components in the front, and great response!

Pros: 5-way speakers for a competitive price All hardware included for installation Great lows, mids, and highs with just power from single-din pioneer head unit

Cons: None so far
