About the Pioneer TS-SW3002S4
A shallow-mount sub that rocks
Pioneer's TS Series shallow-mount subs bring great bass to vehicles where conventional subs won't fit. Their low profile allows the use of slender enclosures that'll fit behind a truck seat or in any tight space while delivering the bass performance you need. The TS-SW3002S4 12" shallow-mount sub handles up to 400 watts RMS with a mounting depth of just 3-3/8".
The TS-SW3002S4 features an oversized cone made of mica-injected molded resin that moves more air and delivers accurate bass. The sub works best in a small sealed enclosure, making it ideal for fitting those tight spaces in today's smaller vehicles. Pioneer recommends the UD-SW300D down firing enclosure for use with this sub.

Features
Shallow Mount Woofer: Pioneer's Shallow-Mount subwoofers are designed to provide installation options for a broad range of vehicles. They can be mounted behind or under the seats of many vehicles. The TS-SW3002S4 has a Mica reinforced IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) composite cone. The process of bonding reinforced pulp to the back of the cone improves its damping capability and eliminates excess vibration. The oversized cone structure provides more surface area without changing the external dimensions, producing louder and deeper bass by moving more air.
Terminals: The spring post terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs, or bare wire up to 10 gauge.
Sealed Box Volume: The sealed box sizes recommended by Pioneer range from 0.5 ft³ to 1.0 ft³; within this range the ideal size is 0.8 ft³.
Vented Box Volume: The vented box sizes recommended by Pioneer range from 0.65ft³ to 1.0 ft³; within this range the ideal size is 0.8 ft³ with a single 3" diameter x 11" long port.
Bandpass Box Volume: The bandpass box sizes recommended by Pioneer range from 0.5 ft³ per chamber to 0.8 ft³ per chamber; within this range the ideal size is 0.6 ft³ per chamber. One 3" diameter x 5" long port should be used in an enclosure with 0.6 ft³ chambers.
