Pioneer's Champion Series subs give you impressive performance without breaking your bank account. The TS-W304R 12" subwoofer sports a rugged cone made from injection-molded polypropylene for rigidity without added heft. The sub's seamless cone design increases efficiency and reduces distortion, while its treated foam surround keeps the cone under control so this sub sounds great in either sealed or ported enclosures.
A tough 6-layer voice coil allows the TS-W304R to handle up to 300 watts RMS. The stamped basket features a magnet cover for added protection, while extra venting helps to cool the sub's interior to protect against thermal breakdown. This sub's classic look will fit right in with any vehicle.
To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 225 and 450 watts RMS at 4 ohms. For more information, please refer to our article on How to Match Subwoofers and Amplifiers.

excellent sounding sub woofer
Pros: sounds excellent in properly sized enclosure
I'm running two of these in my single can pickup and they hit just about as hard as any pair of 12s. For the price you can't beat these subs
Pros: Very affordable
Bought 2 of these, ran em with a 1400watt crunch amp in an 05 Chevy Venture. SOUNDS GREAT!!!!! Slam & rattle the minivan like crazy!!!!! Always loved Pioneer.
Pros: Shaking bass, great handling
Cons: None yet
Good for the price
I have two of them and a 1000 watt boss amp only great things to say about them love them and im in the Process of getting two more great speakers always loved pioneer products keep keep the good work guys
I love efficiency. You really get your bang for your buck with this one. Affordable price and very high sensitivity is what you get.
Pros: Inexpensive. Efficient.
Cons: Cheaper materials.
I had a Lanzar amp but it gave out on me, what's the best amp and power rating for 2 of these badboys
I have had 1 for a few weeks....an so far so good! I have a cheap amp rated at 300rms an the speaker is in a sealed box! Bass hits really hard an loud! So if ur trying to save money this is definitely the speaker to get!!
Pros: Price, well made, easy to hook up
Cons: None so far
These are awesome subs that shake my whole car
Pros: Loud , Shake , and Nice Bass
Cons: Took a while to install
sounds great I have a jl audio amp 300x2 works great
Got two used onesput them In a sealed box. Hooked a boss2000 with bass remote. Shake rattle and role. There no jls or alpine type r, iv had both. But they do hit pretty good.
Great sounding sub, I have a sound ordnance 1350 amp on one of these. Seems like the perfect combo! Sounds great in my extended cab truck!
Pros: Price, sound
Cons: None so far!
The subs are great when they actually work. Had them professionally installed in my box with my mtx 500 amp pushing 250 watts through them both. Within the first week, sub 2 blew up. I had bass boost off and everything was low in my car and all of a sudden white smoke comes out of my box and my amp shuts off... This just happened to sub 1 as well literally yesterday. I just had the installer put in the new sub 2 after getting a refund and sub 1 blew up that same day. So I'm getting rid of two pioneers and getting 2 kicker comp s. Hope they are better and last more than a week.
I bought a pair of the tsw304r subs and put them in a sound craft box tuned to 35hz its a bit large of a box for these but they slam pretty good off my boss r12002 2 channel amp I honestly recommend going more towards 2.5 cf for volume but in any case they hit hard both sealed and ported
Overall pretty good product great for beginners bass heads should spend a lil extra.
Pros: Looks great, good build quality, nice material
Cons: Very light compared to other subs
I love them they sound great
Pros: Hit hard, easy use
I bought this sub in a 1.4 cubic foot, sealed box with a matching pioneer amp that puts out 400 watts rms at 4 ohms. I installed it in my crew cab f350. I was looking for a home theater sound. Not loud bass, just powerful and full sounding. It sounds great, hits all the ranges pretty well, and sounds good at low or high volume. I listen to mostly rock and this sub integrates seamlessly with the highs (after a little tweaking of the low pass crossover). I pushed it with some Paul Wall to it's limit and it sounded smooth all the way up. For filing out the sound stage and normal hip hop listening, I couldn't be happier. I had a 10 inch kenwood sub that was very punchy, no depth of sound. This sub for seems like a great buy compared to that one. It's a very "middle of the road" speaker as far as loudness and sound quality but the price is very much on the low end. Great value ratio if you ask me. Good looking sub, too. Doesn't look cheap, surround material doesn't look like foam rubber.
Pros: Smooth, clear, deep, not punchy, very even across the range in an appropriate sealed box, inexpensive
Cons: Really high bass is a little "muddy" but we're talking HIGH bass. I set my crossover at 250Hz and it sounds excellent for my application. And I'm in the cab with it so muddy sound is very obvious.
I currently have this in a small box enclosure with plenty of polyfill, being pushed with ~300RMS, maybe closer to 250. Let me tell you, this thing bumps pretty nice. Put in a bigger box, maybe pick up a second one of these, it's all you'd ever want for your car as long as you're not trying to shake the cars two lanes over.
Pros: Build quality, tight response, low end response
Cons: high bass can sound slightly muddy
Ok I have only had this sub a few days but seems to be a pretty nice sub. I have it installed in a single slot ported box and its ok nothing special. I have hooked to a Kicker Cx300.1 and it does a good job doesn't get hot or anything. I think with break in time the speaker will sound better and better as I have heard they do. I am curious of how it will sound in a sealed box different obviously but just curious how much different. I am only running a single sub not a pair .
Pros: Looks, sound and tight sounding
Cons: haven't had it long enough to tell

IMPP Cone: The Pioneer TS-W304R features an IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) woofer cone. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity.
Voice Coil: The woofer's 6-layer, long voice coil design allows expanded piston motion for better linearity, improved power handling, and more bass impact.
Extended Pole Yoke: The extended pole yoke expands the magnetic field, improving linearity during large woofer excursions.
Vented Pole Yoke: The vented pole yoke allows air circulation within the motor structure to ensure better heat dissipation, thus improving the power handling capacity.
Terminals: The heavy duty spring compression terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs, and bare wire up to 10 gauge.
Enclosure Compatibility: The Pioneer TS-W304R offers great performance using either a sealed, ported, or bandpass enclosure.

I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: The break-in period should only be about 5-7 hours or so for this amp. There isn't a best way to set the settings. It's really up to you. You can do trial and error by turning up/down the gain, frequencies, bass boost, etc. til you find the perfect settings for you. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. [ Krissy Mar 19, 2015 ] Staff
Don't know, I put in different box [ TERRY Dec 22, 2014 ]
Ya. Should be fine [ LOGAN S Dec 19, 2014 ]
I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: Yes, you can wire two of these subs to a 2-ohm load by wiring them in parallel. Here is a diagram showing how to do this. Each subwoofer is rated at 300 watts RMS so you would want an amplifier that could push close to 600 watts RMS at 2 ohms. If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. [ Krissy Nov 13, 2014 ] Staff
You will want to look for an amp that will provide around 300 watts RMS at 4-ohms. For information on comparing two or more models I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences and help you make the best choice for your system and your budget. [ Jeff Dec 21, 2013 ] Staff
