Pioneer DEH-X6700BS

Overview

Our take on the Pioneer DEH-X6700BS

Siri Eyes Free, at your command

If you rely on your iPhone® and Siri, Pioneer's DEH-X6700BS CD receiver gives you a convenient Bluetooth® connection, so you can ask Siri to make calls, select and play music, compose and hear text messages, read notifications, even use maps and get directions — all commanded by your voice through your stereo. It can make your drive safer and more productive.

Add a SiriusXM tuner for programming variety

The entertainment variety of satellite radio makes it indispensable to truckers, RV owners, and other road warriors. With this Pioneer, you can add an optional tuner to access SiriusXM's impressive lineup with your receiver's controls. With your SiriusXM subscription, you'll enjoy hundreds of channels, covering the gamut of music, news, talk, sports, comedy, and much more.

Built-in Bluetooth

This versatile Pioneer allows you to answer a phone call with the push of a button. You'll talk as if your caller is sitting next to you, freeing up your hands and letting you concentrate on the drive. The DEH-X6700BS supports Bluetooth audio streaming too, so you can stream music wirelessly from compatible devices to the receiver, plus control basic functions like "track up" or "track down."

Plenty of media options

The front-panel USB input allows you to connect your iPod® or iPhone®, then access your playlists with the Pioneer's controls. You'll also enjoy control over your favorite Pandora® stations from the receiver with your iPhone or Android device. You can use the USB input to tap into the music files stored on many Android devices, and the front aux input handles just about any other audio source.

Pioneer DEH-X6700BS

You customize the display and control colors of the DEH-X6700BS to match your taste.

Turn on the color

The DEH-X6700BS CD receiver spans the color spectrum with a multi-color, dual-zone display that lets you choose from thousands of colors for the display and controls — you can even choose different colors for each. MIXTRAX adds to the fun by adding transitions between songs along with a light show that pulses and changes color with the beat of the music. It's like having your own DJ riding shotgun.

Tailor the sound

Pioneer's potent MOSFET amplifier delivers plenty of punch, while the 5-band EQ lets you tweak the sound as much as you want. Three sets of preamp outputs make it easier to add external amplifiers or a powered sub.

Want to keep your steering wheel controls?

In most cars, you'll need an adapter to retain those controls with this car stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and radio, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls. You'll see the adapters that work with your vehicle when you add this receiver to your cart.

Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.

iPod/smartphone note: If you're going to use your iPod or smartphone with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for compatibility information.

Excellent deck in every way, feature packed, bluetooth hands free has excellent voice quality, can't beat the price for everything included.

Factory radio stopped playing CD's and too much money for OE replacement, decided aftermarket is the way especially since I can add Bluetooth. Being a past pioneer user, 4-5 single and double DIN's, I like how pioneer works decided to get another. Works great, easy to setup, didn't even look at the manual to set up the radio, Bluetooth, audio etc. works great, Bluetooth connects well and plays music automatically. Easy to operate, familiar controls from previous radios. Makes factory speakers sound way better!

Pros: Easy to use, packed with features, USB input, Bluetooth, separate screen and button backlighting options.

Cons: If I start the car with remote start, not close enough for Bluetooth to connect obviously, when I get to the car, Bluetooth does not connect automatically, I have to force my phone to connect manually.

After the factory 6cd changer conked out, I decided to replace. Searching showed quickly that Crutchfield had good value, esp considering adapters/dash kit included, and steering wheel kit for a reasonable additional price. Very convenient to enter the details of the car and be guided to just the right compatible products. Installation was more complex than I anticipated and I consider myself handy. Better if there were prewired plug-to-plug adapters rather than identify and connect like a dozen different wires. I had to call Crutchfield to figure out the powered antenna so the radio would work well. Even Crutchfield customer support wasn't for the steering wheel adapter, it took the expert advice of a friend to determine that the documentation was incorrect (not Crutchfield's documentation, it's pac-audio's fault). But now that I finally got it all working, I'm super happy with it!

Pros: -USB input -3.5mm input -Disc player handles mp3 discs -Bluetooth -Removable faceplate -Remote control

Cons: -Complex installation -Steering-wheel adapter instructions incorrect

So far, very nice radio in which one would expect from Pioneer. No complaints. The hands free calling could be a little clearer but hey, atleast the Bluetooth is updatable.

Pros: Ease of use, sound. Clarity.

Cons: The track and song information display does kinda scroll to the left a little fast.

Great quality and sound for the money. Audio control features such as treble, bass and fade adjustments are going to take a little getting use to versus having physical controls on the face of the OEM unit. Display color control adjustment, bluetooth and USB MP3 capabilities add to the coolness factor of this new radio. Adding a CD player was my main consideration in buying this radio.

Pros: Sound quality and remote control operation. Handsfree bluetooth a plus when using my cell phone. Looks great in the dash. Easy installation with the instructions provided by Crutchfield. Color coded wiring instructions were right on.

Cons: Would have been nice if wire connectors would have been included in the installation package. Otherwise, no complaints.

Overall, a great unit. Does all it says it does - Bluetooth streaming and calling, CD player works well and does not skip, and has a front AUX as well. External mic for Bluetooth calling is awesome, picks up voice pretty far away, far better than using my phone on speaker. Color changing is awesome as well. Crutchfield does it again with free a installation kit, and "open box" item that appeared brand new for nearly $20 off. Can't ask for more.

Pros: Awesome little unit, has alot of features for a moderately priced head unit.

Cons: Doesnt look that visually appealing other than color changing, plastic feel can look/feel a little cheap.

Good unit for the price. My only issue is there are no traditional "bass" "treble" "mid" setting. You need to learn Hz to get it set correctly. Also it would be nice if you could turn off the lighting on the sides and if it had a "mute" button on the face. Other than that, it's a great unit

    Pros:

Cons: Lack of mute on receiver No traditional settings Still very bright on lowest setting at night

I can't say anything bad about this radio. It sounds great and it looks great and in my car. I was able to match the display color to that of the rest of my instrument panel and installation was a breeze. Operation of the unit is so simple. I have everything set the way I like it, so all I pretty much have to do is jump in the car and turn the key on. The radio automatically connects to my phone and I'm listening to music and ready to answer phone calls via the hands free Bluetooth feature.

Pros: Easy to install and operate. It's a great quality radio at a great price. Syncs up to my Galaxy S6 with no problem. Sound quality of hands free phone and music is hard to beat.

    Cons: None

This head unit is a an awesome deal and very versatile. I have this unit powering two sets of Kicker CS series 6-1/2 component speakers without an amp and it sounds strong. I have always had good luck with pioneer in the past and this one doesn't disappoint. I love how much you can fine tune the sound. Another bonus with this unit is you can tweak the display color and brightness to match the rest of the dash on the vehicle.

Pros: Powerful, versatile and priced awesome. Plays CD's, keeping it old school!

Cons: I've never found a downside to any pioneer head unit.

Picked this up because I was looking for a new head unit for my 18 year old truck. Wanted hands free phone abilities, satellite abilities and a way to connect my phone/iPod. This covers it all. It also has amp outs and a sub out if ever I want to install those. If you are looking for something to upgrade what you have and bring it into the 21st century, consider this. With the install kit Crutchfield includes, it looks like a clean, factory install. I did it myself in less than 5 minutes.

I'm 54 years old and couldn't care less about "coolness factor" or flashing lights. I know that all the radios they have would all sound good, and have the USB, AUX, and Bluetooth if I wanted it. I was looking for a double DIN size radio to fit in my Dakota, but Crutchfield let me know that that size would not fit in my truck. Then I told them that I wanted a radio that had a display that would dim when I turned on the headlights. This radio has three dim modes; one dims radio when you turn on the headlights, one dims radio based on what time it is (don't know what that's for), and one dims radio manually with the "Dim" button on the front. The dim button on the front also will return display to full brightness if you have the headlights on and the display dimmed. (Like when it's raining during the day). I installed this radio myself and I thought that the wires were a little small to work with. But Crutchfield also sold me some great little screw together connectors that work great and were worth the money. I was also quite impressed with how fast this radio shipped to me. I had it the day after I ordered it, and installed at the same time that the payment was being withdrawn from my account. Very impressive! Big thumbs up to Crutchfield !!! Great recommendation. Great service. And a great radio!!!

Pros: Sounds great, and has the dimming.

    Cons: Small wires

I bought this to replace the stock radio in my daughter's 2006 Hyundai Sonata. I wanted her to have Bluetooth handsfree for her iPhone and a way to listen to music from the phone. I didn't bother with steering wheel controls. The new radio sounds great. It was easy to install with the Crutchfield instructions and install kit (faceplate/mounting bracket and wiring harness). My only complaint is the display is a bit dim to read in sunlight, especially when setup with the darker colors. Thanks to the factory wiring harness mating connector (part of free install kit), I was able to solder together the 14 wires that were needed and do a neat and easy job on my workbench. Then, in the car, I just plugged it in and screwed it down. Nice and easy.

Pros: Easy install with Crutchfield Kit. Works great with iPhone for handsfree or music playback. Relatively easy to use.

Cons: Display is a bit dim in sunlight.

This is so frustrating that I can't even adjust the brightness enough to see on a sunny day. I have the brightness level at 10 and can only see it when it's cloudy or dark out. The original factory radio had no problems with illumination and the menu was so much easier to use. Is this the way all pioneer stereos work?

Pros: The BT phone interface works real well, easy to hear the caller through the speakers and the mic picks up my voice clearly. Physical installation of the stereo was incredibly easy.

Cons: Should include Braille on display as its not bright enough to see.

Never installed a stereo before in my vehicles. Instructions were very easy to use and I was able to do it in 2 hours...mostly due to an external CD player in that particular year Chevy.

Pros: Good sound quality. User friendly. Bluetooth hooks up instantly! I have a 2015 Challenger and the bluetooth is slow to connect when I get in and very sluggish while using. This stereo is much faster...and for much cheaper!

Cons: Did not come with a faceplate case...thought that was weird.

I decided to wait a couple week before I wrote a review. I have to say that I am very impressed. I upgraded my dash speakers and added a sub and amp before installing this radio. After the radio install, everything sounded so much better. The presets on the equalizer are amazing and I love the speaker and subwoofer control. I also added in the steering wheel controls and the instal was a breeze. It's nice to retain factory controls with an aftermarket unit. I would also like to include the increased quality of the Bluetooth hands free calling and Siri hands free. No one has trouble hearing me and I can hear everyone else loud and clear. I strongly recommend this product, I even bought a second one for my wife's escape.

Pros: Amazing sound, steering wheel control ready, bluetooth hands free and Siri hands free are flawless! It's a great unit.

Cons: The only thing I don't like is when you connect you're iphone through usb, it automatically plays Pandora.

Great stereo, had everything I wanted and more. One feature I didn't expect was it actually can name the station, artist and song when listening to the radio, which I thought was pretty dang cool. Only thing I can complain about, is the controller doesn't look cool; which isn't a complaint worth actually complaining about. (But seriously, the controller looks like you could put it into a VCR and a movie would start playing.) Other than that, I love everything about it!

Pros: Bluetooth, smartphone compatible, satellite radio ready, crystal clear call quality.

I bought this unit to replace a Kenwood Excellon KDC-X397 which did not have blue tooth capability for making and receiving phone calls. I emphasized to the Advisior that my priorities were top-line CD and FM performance. This deck was recommended to me. Unfortunately, it has the worse-sounding FM tuner I have ever heard. The CD performance of the unit is not much better. Even with a full equalizer to adjust the sound, it did not make much difference. I would equate this player as having sound quality similar to a factory stereo. The Blue Tooth seems to work well for telephone calls. The impression I get about this player is that if you main interests are streaming music from a smartphone or playing MP3s from an IPOD, it probably will work fine for most people. If you want high-quality audio, look for something else. I'm happy to say that I re-installed my Kenwood and my system sounds great again. Unless I can find a better player with Bluetooth capability, I will continue to do the right thing and simply pull off the road when I need to use my phone. I'm not giving up the Kenwood!!

Pros: It's cheap and has a well-functioning master control. The display can be set to show the clock at all times.

Cons: Terrible audio quality, similar to a factory radio. The worse-sounding FM tuner I have ever heard. The user manual could be better.

I had already installed one in my buddy's car, liked it enough to buy one for myself. Every car I've had I've installed a pioneer head unit, they always sound better then the Sony, Kenwood, JVC stereo's they replaced.

Pros: Very sharp looking Can match button & display color to dash lights Pandora compatible(I have iPhone 6s) Bluetooth for streaming and phone calls works well, "Hey Siri" works for hands free texting too

Cons: Pandora only works through USB on iOS devices, not Bluetooth like android devices.

So far so good. The stereo fit the opening quite easily and with the additional beauty kit looks quite professional. The sound is pretty good and the blue tooth and other features work nicely. The instructions for installing were pretty easy to follow although I would not disconnect the air conditioning cable. It can be installed with out it. The display is pretty clear most of the time, during bright days I have to turn the dimmer off to see it but that has been only a minor inconvenience.

Pros: Looks good installed, clear sound, and works as intended. The menu is intuitive enough I haven't read all of the use manual. The sound from my XM radio and bluetooth devices is great and clear. It worked flawlessly with Pandora on the first try.

Cons: Local radio stations are not as clear- I need to pull the plates off and make sure the antenna cord is all plugged in. I with the dimmer would just stay off and I didn't have to turn it off each time. And I don't like that if my bluetooth is on it automatically starts to play. Easy enough to fix by just turning off the bluetooth.

Great Stereo, Especially for the price.

I replaced my stock stereo with this one, and it works flawlessly. I wanted to upgrade because I hated not having an aux import or even access to the tape player to use that kind of an adapter (the cord gets pinched when the screen closes after inserting the tape). I was using an FM transmitter and I hated having that little bit of static on the "S" sounds of songs. Anyways, after about 3-4 hours I finally got it installed. Ran into a few installation problems, but overall it works out well. The reason for 4 stars on "Coolness Factor" is because I personally am a fan of the double din decks. However those gps units are significantly more costly than single dins.

Pros: Sound quality is awesome, connects to phone automatically and starts playing music when I start up my car, Siri integration is awesome, Mix function is cool when the lights flash with the bass.

Cons: The Mix option only works when connecting a phone through the USB. Not over bluetooth.

Pros: Bluetooth reconnects fast when you turn it on (so as soon as car starts, you start hearing exactly where you left off) Great sound with factory EQ, or you can tinker Easy install w/ supplied connectors

Cons: Manual from Pioneer could be clearer. Leaves a lot out esp re: settings. Display isn't very bright -- fades in sunlight. No way to "save" the OEM hidden 3.5 aux/USB built into vehicle-- I think this is true for almost any aftermarket car stereo, and it's an oversight

Honestly, I'm no audiophile. I don't know that much about audio quality, but I wanted something that would allow me to listen to music through an aux chord and not stand out in my car (92 Honda Accord). Quite Frankly, the setup process went over pretty well. The Radio's systems are fairly self explanatory and mostly everything is self explainatory, except for the wiring harness. The only reason why I took off a star on my overall rating is because the instructions should be easily readable for anyone, even first time installers. That being said, the wiring was color coded correctly to the opposing harness I got to attach to my honda connector, issue is that I'm color blind. Trying to figure out those wires without an accurate sense of what color was what was very irritating. I checked the instructions to see if it had a wiring layout for the harness, but that layout was confusing and unusable. If you have to look up the wiring diagram on google then somebody is doing something wrong. Aside from that aspect it is a very satisfactory radio. Only other thing to note is that the Aux cable doesn't secure incredibly well, but I'm not sure if that's my cable or the radio's fault. Either way its not really that much of an issue.

Pros: Intuitive user interface Decent display color options Very little fluff in the interface Relatively low profile design

Cons: Installation instructions should be more user friendly Nobody cares for flashy lighting on a stereo

First of all, this is a great company!!!! I am loosing count of how many stereos I have purchased from this company now and I am sure it won't be the last. As for the product, I am old enough to know how much it used to cost for a pioneer 8 track or cassette stereo radio back in the day. No blue tooth, Sirius who? Remote? Car phone? Microphone? Usb? Iphone what? Custom in dash kit and tech service delivered to your door for $114? You gotta be kidding me! I remember paying $600 for a 6 CD changer installed in the 90's! Ok so this is not even the best system offered by pioneer but it is good enough and packed with features.

Pros: Blue Tooth cell technology. Real condenser mic that doesn't sound like crud. Pioneer has one of the most user friendly remotes out there. Easy to visualize in your mind without looking at the buttons as long as you have it right side up. I don't use the Sirius radio because I already own so much music on my thumbnail USB that I could listen to music from the west to east coast and never hear the same song twice. I purchased this system specifically for the phone, USB, Radio, remote and EQ.

Cons: If you are looking for high out put it isn't here but this system is easily upgraded through jacks in the back. A built in mic would have been nice rather than a cabled mic woven under the dash but that isn't a complaint, I'm just spoiled. I have been use to layered digital menus for everything for quite sometime now: Digital recording & mixing etc. but I still like something tactile better. EQ that you can see and adjust right now without flipping through layers of digital back and forth.

This radio paired easily and quickly with my iPhone 6. It even made my stock Bose speakers sound wonderful (which I almost bought new ones due to poor sound quality and no bass, but I guess the stock radio was the weakest link there). I love the ever changing colors on the radio and the many ways from which I can play music from my phone. It's really nice that my boyfriend can play music from his android phone or his jumpdrive, too! I was weary at first but I am extremely glad and relieved that I bought this radio!!

Cons: Pandora app opens automatically, but that feature can be turned off. I'm an iHeart Radio kind of lady ;)

I wanted Bluetooth audio in my 1998 BMW M3. I was able to install the Pioneer HU quickly and easily. My biggest concern was matching the BMW amber color. The custom color feature allowed me to match it perfectly. The bluetooth audio works flawlessly. The sound improvement was stunning. Better bass, crisp highs and vocals seemed to stand-out more, and that was before I tweaked the audio settings.

Pros: Excellent audio. Display and button color matching. Bluetooth works flawlessly. Easy to install with kit provided.

Cons: Faceplate removal is awkward. You have to push button to eject and lightly lift bottom right corner. Too light or too firm and it won't detach.

I bought this unit myself so everything I say will be from my eperiences uses it. Sound quality: Annoying. If you try raising the volume you will surely go deaf. There is no direct way to turn down the treble. The unit itself makes a very hard to deal with sound because it makes the higher notes impossible to avoid. My factory radio does a better job with sound quality, it even has a treble reduced knob. I would think the goal of a good sounding speaker is how loud can I hear the music without going deaf from the high noises. I was very frusturated with the radio because of this. It has so many options but didnt take the time to give direct control over the treble. Everything else: The rest about the radio is great! Of course this doesnt really matter anymore because its sound is trash but I will take the time to say that it looks cool, its easy to install (if you know how to deal with wiring wires properly), and it fits great.

    Pros:

Cons: Sound. No way to turn up volume past a certain, which is way to low, point without being annoyed by its deafening treble.

Need I say more Pioneer and Crutchfield! The unit is so good I bought two off them! After installing it in my car and loving it so much I purchased another one for my son as a gift.

Pros: Crutchfield sales service and reputation! Crutchfield adding the install kit and assembly instructions for your vehicle with the purchase. A worry free purchase. Pioneer's quality, value and sound wrapped up in one package! Pioneer added the right features that people use and not useless fluff that looks impressive on paper.

Cons: The display writing was a little better quality. You can't use the units mic to make a call. To many buttons to push to get to some features. Lack of grip on the volume knob on the outside perimeter would help with ease of control. Not a problem if you have steering wheel controls.

This is an excellent head unit for the money. The internal amp sounds good powering 4 4x6 speakers in my 1990 GMC Truck. The 4V preouts send a very clean signal to the external amps. Front 1/8 jack and USB ports along with Bluetooth make connecting almost any device simple. This vehicle has a depth problem for aftermarket head units, may won't fit. This one did, so for those with limited space behind the mounting location, put this on your short list. There is optional SiriusXM, but I passed since this is more of a show truck than a daily driver, so no comment there. I haven't used the mic to make calls yet, so I also can't comment there. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Pros: Value, Ease of Use, Feature Set

Cons: Bluetooth is finicky with my iPhone 5s.

This receiver was a great buy loaded with features so I can connect up any media device making it a serious step up from the factory radio. The system offers me plenty of control to adjust the sound just how I like it.

Pros: A quality product with plenty of features and great sound.

Cons: Works great alone but really shines when paired with an amp that will push my new replacement speakers.

I only buy Pioneer radios for the fact that they are easy to use and they give you the most bang for your buck as far as clarity. Yes other radios will give you more loudness but this is way more clear then any other system.

Pros: Easy to install and easy to use and figure out.

Cons: Can't really see it in the day time even with the brightness up but this is the down fall of most aftermarket radios.

This is the second Pioneer DEH-X6700BS I own. I believe there's a newer version but this model worked out so well in my rugged Jeep, that now there's one in my Blazer. For both my vehicles, my primary objective is to have an iPhone hands free connection via blue tooth and this model does that superbly. I set it up once and that's it, connection is all automatic thereafter. No fussing around, I just start the car and drive while my iPhone connects for phone communications and any other iPhone GPS or audio I need. Plus, this model provides many other powerful audio features and options with such an ease of use. If I get another car, This will be the audio head I purchase for it and you can bet the purchase will be from Crutchfield because they also include the correct installation kit and convenient customer assistance from their data base of years of experience and insight. I always thought purchasing from Crutchfield would cost more but, I recently found out otherwise that it actually costs less with more gained. Many thanks go to Crutchfield Sales and Tech. Support for all of your help and follow up.

Pros: Wonderful Audio, easy setup for blue tooth hands free. Has an external mic with a long lead and the remote control makes adjustments easy while driving, especially over road bumps.

Cons: I have no complaints regarding the unit or it's setup and use. Though I feel, Pioneer could be a bit more direct in their wiring schematic with regards to the color coding. It's all in there though but, you have to decipher it in several areas. Also, I think Pioneer can build this unit smaller (depth wise) so that it fits more vehicles without changing or altering factory dash brackets and configurations.

Doesn't fit in a 2004 jeep rubicon if you plan on using siriusxm. The bracket that holds in the factory radio is in the way when you plug in the siriusxm adapter which makes the radio stick out about 1/4 inch. Besides that it's a nice radio just don't recommend for a 2004 jeep rubicon

This is my 3rd Pioneer receiver (BT6400-BT6500) and I am more than happy with it. I may be slightly biased as far as the installation and operation due to other Pioneer products I own. When looking for a BT receiver I prefer the external microphone for sound quality. Having the rear plug for the remote makes it easy to add a steering wheel control interface. The receiver is a solid performer (IMHO)

Pros: Ext. Microphone, being able to match display color to the vehicle, ease of use and multiple configurations

Cons: None so far, I don't expect any.

This was an upgrade from the jeep factory radio....Id forgotten just how good audio could be, the quality is just amazing for the value. The install went easily, Crutchfield was there for my one question. My only issue was with Sirius xm, it took almost as long as the installation to activate the radio. Very happy with this choice!

Pros: High quality product and service

    Cons: none

Nice unit. For not too much bread you get a lot of features only found in much more expensive ones. Easy to install. Phone paired up easy. I pod works great. Can't go wrong.

    Pros: Price, features

Cons: Setting individual features takes some hunting and pecking. Manual is useless.

Purchased this CD Receiver to replace stock radio in my 2007 Durango. Crutchfield support was awesome! It has been a long time since I swapped out a radio. When I was done I still had my steering wheel controls and the bluetooth worked well. After the initial install everything it took some time to get the settings right for using my iPhone. Pairing the phone was easy. But to use the audio (iTunes, Pandora, etc.) you have to turn on BTAUDIO. After I got everything set up I made my first bluetooth phone call. Call dialed and connected with no problem. Folks on the other end could hear me crystal clear but I couldn't hear them. Turns out that with this vehicle the wiring is slightly different. I found the solution on the web and Crutchfield confirmed that the white wires from the receiver go to the green wires on the interface and the gray wires from the receiver go to the purple wires on the interface. Took extra time to uninstall, rewire and reinstall but once it was back in it worked perfectly.

Pros: Great sound, relatively easy to install, works well with the Iphone

Cons: Wiring was different for my vehicle. Would have been nice to know up front.

This is a great radio for my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. Even with the original stock speakers, the sound quality is superb and adding the connectivity for modern devices makes my favorite car even more fun to drive.

Pros: It's really intuitive to use in my opinion, easy to see in the dark, and great as a hands-free phone. It downloads contacts from the phone and allows me to control music tracks from the radios controls.

    Cons: None so far

    The radio works great.

Pros: Sound Quality is very good working through the stock amplifier in my 1998 F150. Phone link was easy to establish and the microphone picks up conversation in a very effective way.

Cons: Would have preferred a built in rather than a remote mounted microphone.

Great replacement for my 2002 Tahoe's stock radio. Installation was easy and the free installation gear worked great. The toughest part was fishing the microphone wire through the console. I also replaced the stock subwoofer with a Kicker 40CWS82 and the front and rear door speakers with Kenwood KFC-P709PS component speakers. The stock amp still works and the sound is simply amazing.

Pros: Playing MP3s from USB stick, Bluetooth for hands free calling, and of course the AUX port for the kids' garbage. ;)

Cons: Why did I wait so long!

    Awesome Product
