I purchased this Panasonic tv after reading and seeing it in several stores.
The only problem is, it is best viewed in a low light room.You can sit 3 feet away and the picture is great. We sit 12 feet away and it's great for movies to fast sports. It was heavy to install, my wife and I set it on 2 kitchen chairs to install the articulating bracket. This type of bracket allows you pull the tv straight out for wiring. The last good thing is the price didn't
change since I purchased it a over a year ago,it's not worth waiting for a price drop that may not happen. My den needs a 50" Panasonic . I'm not waiting.That's what I told my wife,we'll see how that works.

Worth the weight

I did a DIY installation and I found it to be a challenge, but with the help of three other friends, the correct hardware and a thorough review of the dos and don'ts of installation, it was a breeze. The picture speaks for its self; with a HD signal source, the picture is breath taking, to say the least; so
realistic I find it unbearable to watch anything but High definition programming. Fast paced programming is best viewed from a distance of 13 ft or greater; something I found out for myself. Viewing is best in a room with little or no light; there is a video setting to improve viewing in a sunny room. I bought the cable connectors for all of the connections in the rear of the plasma to avoid having to take the television off the wall, take it from me; this baby is heavy. Looking back on the cost, time and effort it took to install the plasma it was well worth it.
