I can't compare this unit to other blu-ray units since this is mu first. Campared to regular DVD, picture and sound is greatly improved. My one sore point is the loading time of the unit but it has read every disk that I have thrown at it. Great price at this point in time

Good Bluray player for the price

I have seen other expensive Bluray players and did not want to spend a lot before knowing how much of a difference it makes. This player was on sale and purchased a month ago after researching other players.
After using the player, I am satisified with the Panasonic - but I have noticed one problem with it.
The player is slow to respond to open/close buttons
after you power it up. It is one small annoying that one needs to wait until it opens....
I have encountered no issues playing any disc. I borrowed couple of Blu Ray DVDs and the quality is amazing and one will not be disappointed. I have
played many regular DVDs and they are good but not as good as Bluray DVDs. Have encountered no
problems playing any discs so far.
Crutchfield service before and after the sale is top notch, you just can't go wrong.

Panasonic DMP-BD30 Blue is the best bang for the buck
the 1080p picture is the best all of my other standard dvds work fine no need to down load fireware the sound on blue ray is the best
setup is easy
