Get extensive telephoto power with the Panasonic 45-200mm f/4-5.6 lens. Its broad telephoto focal range lets you get up-close-and-personal shots of subjects near and far; you can zero in on a nearby surfer, then zoom way out to capture a far-distant sailboat. Even better, the lens has built-in optical image stabilization, so your pictures remain crisply detailed even when your hand is a little shaky or lighting isn't perfect.

This nifty lens was developed for cameras using the Micro Four Thirds standard, such as the exceptional Panasonic DMC-G1, DMC-GF1, and DMC-GH1.

Great lens at a great price

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought this lens for my Lumix GF1, great addition to my camera, nice zoom abilities and good quality photos. I find the auto focus to be a little slow, particularly when hand-held, but using a tripod will definitely help. Overall very satisfied with the price and the performance.

Pros: Nice zoom range addition. Good price Good photos

Cons: Little slow on the autofocus Size, with compact camera almost doubles the weight.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am loving this lens. What a great value. Sharp enough for my usage. Feels really solid. If you are considering this lens do not hesitate to buy it especially with the money back guarantee.

Pros: great value! Very sharp for a lens of this range at this price point.

Cons: none for me at this point in time

A lot of lens for the money.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This lens is a good compliment to the GF1 with either of the kit lenses. Some
say it makes the GF1 too unwieldy, but it seems like a nice match to me. It is
obviously no longer pocketable, like it is with the 20mm, but the combo is about
the lightest 400mm equiv. you're going to be able to assemble.

The optics aren't first rate, but they are good. The OIS is useful.
