Features

3-D Space EQ: 3-D Space EQ gives your system multiple pre-programmed ways to enhance the sound of your music. Choices include Heavy, Clear, Soft, Disco, Live, and Hall.

Super Sound EQ: Super Sound EQ gives you a simple way to give your music a full, dynamic sound. Just press a button and the entire range of sounds get a powerful boost without complicated EQ adjustments.

Play/Record Timer: The timer can be used as a  play timer or a record timer, but it cannot be used as both simultaneously. When used as a play timer, you can set the start time, finish time, source, and playback volume. When used as a record timer, you can set the start time, finish time, and source.

Sleep Timer: The sleep timer turns the system off after a specified amount of time. The sleep timer can be set to 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes.

Auto-Off Function: When CD or tape is selected as the source and the system is unused for more than 10 minutes, the system will automatically turn off to save power.

Tuner Features

Overview: This system has a digital AM/FM Tuner. You can store up to 24 station presets so that you always have easy access to your favorite stations without having to tune them in manually each time. The tuner has two tuning modes: Manual and Preset. If you are listening to an FM station in stereo but the reception is weak, you can improve the sound quality by switching to Mono. Note: FM tuning is done in 0.2MHz or 0.1MHz steps and AM tuning is done in 10 kHz steps.

CD Features

CD Player: This system has a 5-disc elevator-style CD changer.

CD Compatibility: This unit will play prerecorded CDs, finalized CD-R discs and finalized CD-RW discs.

Program Play: Up to 24 tracks can be programmed and played in any order.

Repeat Play: You can have the system repeat the current track or all of the tracks on the loaded CDs. In addition, you can repeat Program Play and Random Play.

Random Play: You can select 1-Disc or All. When 1-Disc is selected, the tracks on the selected CD are played in random order. When All is selected, the tracks on all loaded CDs are played in random order. In addition, you can play the programmed tracks in random order.

CD Manager Function: This function makes it easier for you to select special CDs and tracks from those loaded in the changer. You can select 1-Track mode, which plays only one track from all the loaded CDs, 1-Disc mode, which plays only one CD from all the loaded CDs, or 1-All mode, which plays a single track from each loaded CD. Additionally, you can use the CD Manager Function together with Repeat Play.

One Touch Play: If the system is in standby mode and a CD is loaded, you can press play or the number of the CD and the system will turn on automatically and begin playback.

Direct Access Play: Using the number pad on the supplied remote control, you can directly access CDs and tracks.

Cassette Features

Auto Tape Selector: The Auto Tape Selector provides smoother sound by automatically selecting the proper equalization for playing back metal tapes.

Recording: Using a Type I or Type II cassette, you can record from the 5-disc CD changer, the radio, or a component connected to the Aux input jacks. Using the CD Manager Function or Program Play, you can record your favorite tracks in the desired order.

CD Synchro Recording: This feature allows you to record a CD to tape with the press of a button.

Tape Program Sensor (TPS): This feature allows you to find the beginning of a track in either direction and resume playback from there. You can skip up to 9 tracks in either direction. It does this by detecting the blank spaces between the songs.

One Touch Play: If the system is in standby mode and a cassette is loaded, you can press the tape button and the system will turn on automatically and begin playback.

Speakers

Speaker Design: Each speaker uses a 2-3/8" paper cone tweeter and a 4-3/4" paper cone woofer with a foam surround. Each cabinet has a rear-firing port for improved bass response. The white cloth grilles are removable.
