I love this thing! It may not be fully wireless but it's still awesome to no longer have wires running across the room under our rug. I really love the ipod dock that's included also, that was a huge bonus for the price! Crutchfield rocks!

Bought for use in bedroom with 32 in. LCD TV. Easy to set up and use. Wireless rear speakers keep wiring simple. Appropriate value for low price.

Works great for my application

I bought this system to put into a camper. The "wireless" rear speakers were crucial for my needs as I did not want the wire running from the base unit across the camper. No, the rear spearker are not completely wireless, but at least you don't have to run the wires from the main unit to the rear speakers(this is discussed in the "Hands On Research" tab).
One review mentioned that there was no independent volume control, not true. After installation (which only took about 15 minutes for everything), I put a CD in and after looking through the manual to a couple of minutes, was adjusting the volumes to balance the sound in all the spreakers.
Even though I wish there were more inputs, I knew what I was getting before I ordered it. Crutchfield does an excellent job letting you know what inputs/outputs are porvided, so there was not surprise when I got it. I found the bass to be almost too powerful. Depending on the music/movie I am using, I set the bass level to either the lowest setting or the next to lowest setting.
The iPod interface, which is included, is a huge plus for me. Now I don't need to bring a bunch of CDs, just my iPod. I was considering the Sony version of this system (additional cost for the iPod interface), but after talking to the Crtchfield sales rep, he made my decision easy. By the way, thanks Chad (Crutchfield rep) for the information.
Is this system as good as the one I have in my home? NO. But I spent a lot more for it. So far, I couldn't be happier with this system.

System was easy to install. The so called rear (wireless)speakers are not wireless. They have wires attached to them. The wires then go to a wireless receiver. It should not be called wireless when it is not. The component does not have near enough input and output jacks for the price! The subwoofer needs to have more punch. Not enough power for the audiophile. The remote control is too complicated and not user friendly. I wish I would have bought the Onkyo or the Sony..

Very Nice System..Met my expectations

I am very pleased with the system, the wireless link works perfect, the hdmi connection to my hdtv is sharp and clear.Surround sound is great, I wish it had seperate volume control for each speaker but i can live without. Great system for the money.
