Would have gave it 5 stars if it had a digital answering machine, and if it could have just been able to be linked to an existing Panasonic phone, so that I could use any handset to make calls over the cell line. The signal strength is good, works great with my iPhone.

Drops calls, poor sound quality, warranty worthless

Bought this locally, it worked OK a few weeks then started messing up, dropping calls, no audio when answering calls. Tried to return to the store the next time I was near one but they would not take it back because it had been over 3 months. Sent to Panasonic repair facility in McAllen, TX at my expense, they sent me a used one, all scratched up with all the same problems plus garbled sound quality. Read review, this device does not work right and Panasonic does not back it up.

This phone does the trick! Several of my friends phone me exclusively on their cell phones to my cell phone avoid long distance charges. At home, this meant I had to remember to keep my cell with me as I roamed the house. By being able to answer my cell and landline numbers on the same phone, I no longer need to remember this.
The sound quality is quite good (better than my previous wireless landline phone). The bluetooth picks up my cell phone at a surprisingly long distance, meaning that I can keep the cell in one room and the base unit in another.
Altogether, I great buy.

I recently retired and in the process of downsizing elected to go with cell phones for myself and spouse and not have a landline. I missed the convenience of having cordless phones through out the house so purchased this Panasonic unit with 4 extra extensions. Couldn't be happier. Works well and easy to figure out and use and now absolutely don't miss the land line. My only knock is the system has a slight loss of clarity but only slight. Otherwise, fantastic.
