Sure Start Smart Battery System: The Granatelli Sure Start Smart Battery System is a simple device intended to prevent Automotive-grade batteries from being killed do to unwanted or unsuspected current draw. The Granatelli Sure Start Smart Battery System monitors your vehicle's battery 24/7. If the Granatelli Sure Start Smart Battery System ever detects an excessive drain on the battery that may prevent you from starting your vehicle, the device automatically isolates your battery from the electrical current draw to ensure you will have at minimum 11.8 volts in your battery when you need it most. If it ever detects the vehicle's battery power falling below the required level to start the engine, its advanced micro technology processing system automatically isolates the battery from the vehicle's electrical system to prevent further drainage. When your vehicle needs to be started, a simple push of the reset button or remote re-engages your battery and power is restored.

Dual Remote Controls: Using the two supplied remote controls, the Sure Start Smarty Battery System can act as an anti-theft device by disconnecting and reconnecting power by choice. The remotes can also be used to reestablish power after draining.

Installation: The Sure Start Smarty Battery System is installed on the positive (+) battery post with the provided post clamp. The male spade-connector end of the attached black ground wire is fastened to the negative (-) post clamp bolt. The battery location and position differ in various vehicles. With the supplied accessories, you can mount the Sure Start Smart Battery System on virtually any vehicle's battery using a top mount, side mount, or chassis mount configuration.

Important Note: Before installing the Sure Start Smart Battery System, be sure the vehicle's battery is holding proper charge. If the batter is not holding the minimum charge, it may be at or near its life cycle and should be replaced. The Sure Start Smart Battery System is designed to protect a new battery or properly functioning battery. It cannot restore or repair a damaged battery. If the vehicle's battery shows signs of physical damage such as swelling, leaking, or cracking, replace the battery before installing the Sure Start Smart Battery System. When running diagnostics or jump-starting the vehicle, turn the Sure Start Smart Battery System to the "Off" position.
