Features

Overview: The Rosen Backup Sensor Kit (DP-1032) is compatible with select Rosen & Car Show Multimedia Navigation head units. The Rosen Backup Sensor Kit includes a hideaway sensor module, a 24.5' connector cable, exterior sensors, and a rear-camera/radar input harness. The rear-camera/radar input harness plugs into the back of the Rosen or Car Show Multimedia Navigation head unit in order to plug in the included sensor module and optional rear-view camera (135DP1068, sold separately). The hideaway sensor module is mounted inside the vehicle and connected to your Rosen or Car Show Multimedia Navigation head unit using the supplied 24.5' connector cable. The 4 exterior sensors plug into the hideaway module and are mounted outside the rear of the vehicle (symmetrically on the bumper surface). Once installed, the Rosen Backup Sensor Kit will send an audible warning through your vehicle's audio system, if your vehicle backs up to close to an object.

Sensor Mounting: The Rosen Backup Sensor Kit comes supplied with a 3/4" metal hole-saw bit that attaches to a cordless or electric drill (not included) to cut out openings for the 4 exterior sensors in your vehicle's bumper. Once these holes are cut-out in your vehicle's bumpers, the exterior sensors clip into place. When installed, the sensor should point straight back, not to the sides, up, or down.

Dimensions:

  • Hideaway Sensor Module: Width = 4.9375", Height = 1.125", Depth = 3.1875"
  • Exterior Sensors: Diameter = 0.875", Depth = 1.0"
