Can't find your exact car?

Don't you wish you could take that little headset out of your ear while you're on the road? Now you can add the convenience of Bluetooth hands-free calling to your GM factory stereo with this Scosche BlueFusion module. You'll hear your caller over your car's speakers, letting you keep your hands on the wheel. And if your phone supports it, you can even stream tunes to the stereo while your phone stays stashed in your pocket or purse.

Once your phone is paired, it'll connect to your stereo every time you turn on your car. You'll see who's calling on your stereo's screen when a call comes in, and you can answer the call using your vehicle's steering wheel controls, so you won't have to take your eyes off the road. Scosche's echo-canceling microphone ensures your callers will hear you loud and clear.

Bluetooth note: Bluetooth compatibility of this device may vary, depending on your phone and service provider.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

It does all you need, bluetooth steams music, very easy to install. My battery went dead I still had no problem. Very nice add on.

Pros: All in what you make it.

Cons: A few more added features.

Bluefusion, not for me.

2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

My Silverado has the regular audio system. The installation was very fast, and it sends and receives phone calls as promised. My only complaint is that every single time you make or receive a phone call it changes your audio source to an random XM station during the call, and it stays on that station after the phone call is over. If you are listening to radio or cd and receive 10 calls, you need to press the source botton every single time to go back to listening music. Also when you are streaming music from your phone, you need to switch to XM and do a seek to find the signal. The stream XM channel is also random, so every single time you want to stream you need to seek for the signal. I used the Parrot produts before and they require no imput from the user as this unit requires every time a call comes in. After 2 weeks of use the mic stoped working and decided to return it and get a Parrot. The Parrot works with the Silverado but you will need to get the wire harness from another source, Crutchfield does not has it on stock at the time of this review.

Pros: Super easy to install. 10 minutes max.

Cons: Expensive and does not goes back to the play source after receiving and making phone calls.

A Great Idea

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The idea behind this device is great. Had to return the first module because it was defective, but the return process went well. I had it professionally installed, which went well also. The system works well for running around town. It's just when you're driving on a highway, the caller cannot hear you because of all the background noise. It's ashamed because if you want to receive a call while driving on the freeway, you have to turn the device off and answer the phone manually, which defeats the purpose.

Pros: Sounds great as long as you are driving under 40 mph.

Cons: Caller cannot hear you well if you're driving over 40 mph because of the background noise.

Not able to use

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The unit has no microphone volume control. The sensitivity of the microphone makes it to hard for the callers on the other end to hear. They complain that it is so loud that they can not stand it, and ask that I turn it off.

Pros: Easy to install and use.

Cons: No Microphone volume control

2007 Chevrolet Avalanche
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

First time Reviewing a product but felt like I had to on this one. Have owned for
1 week now and love it., easy installation on my avalanche,
pairs quickly, my wife and family can hear me good, I listened to my wife on it,
You can even hear her whisper!!, steering wheel controls
work great, easy to make calls and will see and hear who is calling on the
navagation screen, Ipod controls work excellent,.... Only problem I have
found is that when i listen to my ipod my navigation screen will display lines on
it.. but no problem all you have to do is turn your sound knob one click and the
bluefusion screen is back on,, back to calling if needed. Scosche tech support
is good. Would highly recommend, Made my driving safer and my life alot
simplier. Worth the money!!

I love this thing

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I just installed this on my '07 Chev Tahoe (w/ XM radio). It was very easy to install, better
than I expected. I had the whole thing installed & working w/in 10mins.

This will be a convienence over my old solution for making calls & listening to my
iPhone while driving. Previously I had to use a 3.5mm cord to listen to music and a
seperate bluetooth speaker phone. Before if I was listening to music and a call would
come in, I would need to turn on the speakerphone, wait for it to connect, then take the
call over the "tinny" sounding speaker phone that was hard to hear, then when the call
was done I would either need to turn off the speaker phone or unlock my phone an
switch the sound output... talk about a distracting hassle. I spend 2+hrs/day commuting
so this will be a great change.

Thanks Scosche for making a product that works as advertised with my existing factory
equipment, AND something that I can install myself w/o any tools or limited mechanical

One harness (BFGMLANXMB) is for vehicles with an XM Satellite Radio tuner and the other harness (BFGMHB) is for vehicles without an XM Satellite Radio tuner. Some vehicles feature a rear XM Satellite Radio tuner and require an optional extension cable (142BFEXTB, sold separately).

Bluetooth Compatibility: The Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface (BFGMK) supports Bluetooth hands-free communication and A2DP streaming from your Bluetooth enabled cellular phone and portable digital music player.

Note: Scosche does not guarantee 100% compatibility with all Bluetooth enabled device. Some cellular phone manufactures utilize a Bluetooth microprocessor that is not compatible with the BlueFusion system. Some phones from Palm, LG (Envy/Envy2), Samsung (Impression), and HTC (Omni) have exhibited operating difficulties with the BlueFusion system.

Pairing: Your Bluetooth enabled cellular phone must be paired with the Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface. Once the initial pairing process has been complete, your phone will easily connect and disconnect to the BFGMK Bluetooth Interface.

Note: The BlueFusion BFGMK will pair to only one phone at a time.

Auto Connect/Disconnect: When your vehicle is started, the BlueFusion BFGMK will automatically connect to the Bluetooth enabled device which it was last paired. If you are on an active call or listening to streaming audio and the vehicle is turned off, the BlueFusion BFGMK will automatically transfer the call to the handset or your audio back to the player.

Source Select: The BlueFusion system functions as an XM source through your vehicle's factory radio. In order to access BlueFusion, the XM band must be selected. If listening to a source other than XM, BlueFusion will automatically switch to the XM band when there is an incoming call.

Note: When the call is ended your factory radio may not automatically switch back to the previous source unless the previous source was XM. You may need to manually switch back to your previous source.

Hands-Free Communication: The Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface (BFGMK) seamlessly integrates your Bluetooth enabled cell-phone into your vehicle's factory audio system. You will hear a ring-tone through your vehicle's speaker and Caller ID will display on your factory radio's screen. The Scosche BFGMK will automatically mute your music on any source as a call comes in. Simply press the answer/hang up button on the factory radio or steering wheel to answer or end the call. The included high-fidelity microphone and your vehicle's factory speakers allow you to carry on your phone conversation.

External Microphone: The Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface (BFGMK) includes an external microphone with DSP echo cancellation to ensure a crystal clear conversation. The included microphone can mounted to your vehicle's visor, headliner, or dash. The microphone should be aimed towards the driver's seat. The microphone measures 0.5625" in diameter x 1.125" in depth.

Making A Call: The Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface (BFGMK) offers various hands-free calling methods.

  • Voice Dial: The BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface supports voice dialing with compatible Bluetooth cellular phones.
  • Call Log: You can make a call using the BlueFusion system's incoming, outgoing, or missed call logs from your vehicle's factory radio or steering wheel controls.
  • Handset: When making an outgoing call directly from your cell-phone, the factory radio will automatically switch to the BlueFusion source and send hands-free audio through the factory speakers.

Note: The Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface (BFGMK) does not support numeric dialing from the factory radio or steering wheel controls. It also does not support the Bluetooth Phonebook profile.

Call Waiting: The Scosche BFGMK supports the Call Waiting function, so you can answer another incoming call while suspending the current call you are on. Your compatible cell-phone must also support this feature.

Conference Call: The Scosche BFGMK also lets you receive two calls at once so you can talk to two people at once. Your cell-phone must also support this feature.

Privacy Mode: You can use your factory radio or steering wheel controls to send the conversation back to your cell-phone for more privacy.

Audio Streaming: The Scosche BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface (BFGMK) supports steaming music with most Bluetooth A2DP enabled cell-phones and digital audio players. You will be able to control basic playback functions such as Play, Pause, Next Track, or Previous Track from your vehicle's factory radio or steering wheel controls.

Note: There must first be a phone paired to the BlueFusion BFGMK before pairing a secondary Bluetooth enabled A2DP device. While streaming Bluetooth audio, redial and voice dial functions are disabled.

Volume Level: You can adjust the volume level for Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth hands-free communication independently from your vehicle's stereo system to match the volume levels of other audio sources.
