This Scosche FD1439B dash kit allows you to install an aftermarket DIN-sized (2" tall) or double-DIN (4" tall) receiver in the dash panel, while maintaining all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning controls. The kit is a perfect match for the color, texture, and contours of your dash.

You bought a 2009-up Ford Flex — great car, but its console makes it impossible to upgrade the factory radio. This Scosche FD1439B dash kit allows you to install an aftermarket DIN-sized (2" tall) or double-DIN (4" tall) receiver in the dash panel, while maintaining all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning controls. The kit is a perfect match for the color, texture, and contours of your dash.

Important Installation Note: This installation requires a Dremel tool with cutoff discs and pick tools. You'll have to make minor modifications to the dash, so you will not be able to reinstall the original Ford radio. You'll also have to relocate the factory climate controls into this dash adapter. Check the instruction manual for a full description of the installation.

This dash kit has been designed with high quality automotive grade ABS plastic to match the texture, contour, and paint of your factory panels.

Single-/Double-DIN Compatible: The Scosche FD1439B "Custom Kit/Factory Fit" dash kit accommodates a single-DIN mount head unit with included pocket, or a Double-DIN mount stereo.

A/C Control Housing: The Scosche FD1439B "Custom Kit/Factory Fit" dash kit lets you retain your factory air conditioning controls.

Metal Retention Clips: Pre-installed factory style metal retention clips help to hold the installation kit in place in your dash.
