You bought a 2010-up Camaro — great car, but its console makes it tough to upgrade the factory radio. The Scosche GM5201AB dash and wiring kit replaces your Camaro's dash panel, so you can install a single- or double-DIN car stereo. This dash kit includes a color touchscreen display for your climate controls. Using this touchscreen display's menu system, you can also adjust the settings for the display and various functions in your Chevy. You'll also get built-in buttons alongside the display for your Camaro's fan speed, hazard lights, and door locks.

Vehicle Compatibility: The Scosche GM5201AB integration package allows you to replace your 2010-up Chevy Camaro's factory stereo with an aftermarket head unit to improve the overall sound quality of your vehicle's audio system. Please consult Crutchfield's Outfit My Car to see if your vehicle is compatible.

Dash Kit: The dash kit fits both double-DIN or single-DIN aftermarket head units. A pocket is included for single-DIN head units. This dash kit has been designed with high quality automotive grade ABS plastic to match the texture and paint of your factory panels.

Integrated Touchscreen w/ Climate Controls: The Scosche GM5201AB dash kit features a full color touchscreen and push-button controls for your vehicle's HVAC system. Its configurable for single or dual climate control.

Stereo Replacement Harness: The included wiring harness connects between the GM5201AB's dash kit, your new aftermarket head unit, and your vehicle's factory radio harness. There is a 24-pin and 8-pin connector which plugs behind dash kit, and two multi-pin molex connectors which plug into your factory radio harness. The wiring harness will need to be hardwired to your aftermarket head unit's harness (see wire chart below).

Steering Wheel Control Retention: The included stereo replacement harness also includes a steering wheel control output, which allows you to keep your vehicle's factory steering wheel controls when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit that features a SWC input. No additional interface or programming is necessary.

Optional OnStar Retention Interface: If your Chevy Camaro features OnStar and you would like to keep this feature when installing an aftermarket head unit, you will need to purchase the Scosche CAMOSM OnStar retention interface (142CAMOSM, sold separately). Otherwise, you will lose your factory OnStar when installing an aftermarket head unit.

Someone here said XM sat radio will not work when this kit is installed. Can you please verify that is NOT correct, and 2011 stock external sat radio WILL work. Or, if not, will the iDatalink Maestro module allow this, purchased separately of course. I have used Maestro in another 2010 GM vehicle and sat radio works. Also that may be a solution for reported intermittent steering wheel controls?

No it does not but If the radio you install has an oem feature you can use the oem to display temperature, vehicles gauges (oil pressure ect.) backup sensors and a couple other features. Hope this helps

No, it doesn't. If you install the adapter you loose the usb connection and the temp. If your camero has his display though, you will see the temp on it. All this is irrelevant if you want an aftermarket stereo as there aren't any other options for the camero because of the engineering design.

Hey Alexis I have a 2011 Camaro RS and yes it will work with your 2010 Camaro. Its easy to install and works great with your steering wheel controls if you have them. If you have the 4 gauges down by the shifter its a really tight fit with the gauges. I'm very pleased with the adapter!!! If you want I can send you pictures of the Scosche installed. Wayne

I have a 2011 camaro. This adapter integrates everything except the usb and the temperature. This unit is not completely all touch either, it has a total of 8 push buttons.

Yes, this adapted takes the place of your factory ac/heat dials. It turns it into buttons and uses the touchscreen.

It works great for my 2010 ss. I replaced those bulky know with this Scotch kit and it worked great. Only issue I saw was it is a 2 piece design with a plastic welded joint. That joint wanted to break during installation because there is a lot of wiring you have to stuff in behind it. I simply applied a liberal amount of J.B. weld epoxy (steel reinforced) on that entire joint and had no problem after that. This thing looks great installed, AND you can paint it to match if you want. I didn't paint it, and it looks factory installed. Great purchase! Oh and if you have trouble installing yourself, Crutchfield customer service is amazing.
