It Works
Written By Shannon, Saint Louis, MO on Thursday, May 21, 2009

Installed on a 08 civic sedan the dark grey dashboard. The color is off by a few shades compared to the stock dash but not too noticeable. The fit for the clips were perfect. Had to file the opening around the AC controls as the buttons were sticking. Will have to wait and see how it holds up. But, it seems to work.

Honda Civic Dash Adapter
Written By Matthew, Houston, TX on Tuesday, April 28, 2009

This "adapter" is a poorly made thin and flimsy replacement for the factory dash. The plastic cracks when you bolt on your dash items (vent, lights, etc.) even if your careful.
It never snapped into the dash properly, almost like it wasn't made for my civic.... Crutchfield is refunding my money, don't waste yours!

Fits and works
Written By Sue, Eagle River, AK on Saturday, October 04, 2008

This fits and does the job. The color is good with my dark gray, and it pops right in. The receiver support is a bit lacking compared to what was holding my stock radio/cd player. This only has 2 screws on each side of the plastic brackets; the stock one was metal and completely supported the radio/cd unit on all sides. It's too bad it wouldn't fit into the Scosche unit. Also, instructions were lacking for this unit and for this part of the installation in the Crutchfield mastersheet instructions.

Honda Civic Dash Adapter
Written By CJ, san diego CA on Saturday, September 06, 2008

I bought this for my 07 civic sedan the dark grey dashboard. The color is off by a few shades compared to the stock dash but not too noticeable. The fit for the clips were perfect. Now the hole in the dash for the stereo is where it gets tricky. For a regular single din stereo it fits well, but for a double din some adjustments need to be made. I actually needed to make the hole a little bit but cutting it with a saw. After the cutting the stereo fit good but wished I didnt have to go to all that extra trouble.

dash kit
Written By Ricahrd, US military UK on Saturday, August 02, 2008

Like everyone has said it is a tad light but you only notice if your look for it.
I was very happy with the way it fit, very easy. The only thing i did not like
is that the braces that hold in the deck are plastic, also the screws that
came with my head unit were not long enought to reach threw the plastice
and into the deck, I bought the kenwood DDX8017. Also the 2 8mm bolts
were very hard to put back in becuse the plastic kept moving around. I just
ended up leaveng them out! there is like 9 clips holding the deck in place.
