The cover's frame fits in your bike's single-DIN opening, and you can then push the cover over your receiver. Product Research

Features

Harley Davidson Radio Cover: The high-quality cover protects your Harley Davidson's aftermarket radio from the elements with an aesthetically pleasing design that does not hinder access to radio controls or functionality.

Note: This Scosche radio cover is not a fully waterproof solution. Crutchfield recommends using a marine grade aftermarket stereo in combination with this cover.

Vehicle Compatibility: The HDWS1B Radio Cover fits most 1996-2013 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide and Street Glide models with aftermarket radios.

Quality Construction: The HDWS1B radio cover is tinted and has a textured perimeter for optimal glare reduction and readability in both daytime and nighttime environments. Its automotive grade O-ring seal creates a secure and watertight dash fit. Proudly made in the USA with high grade acrylic, the HDWS1B cover is UV stable, as well as impact and scratch resistant. Through sophisticated tooling design, the lower rim is recessed for an exact fit of the custom O-ring while the entire flange incorporates an ideal draft angle.

Installation: The HDWS1B's unique, single piece design fits in the factory dash opening rather than the radio mounting surface. This translates into minimal protrusion and a smooth shape that looks appropriate in the factory dash, while providing maximum clearance to accommodate different aftermarket radio designs. Two finger tabs are incorporated into the cleverly designed cover to provide easy one-handed removal. The cover can be oriented with the tabs facing upward or downward. Due to its unique pressure fit and O-ring design, no tools, double sided tape, or Velcro are required for installation.

Customer Q&A

Q
Will this allow me to use car stereo on my Road glide without the worry of it getting wet in the rain or washing my bike?

A
it should . I use it and it works so far

Yes it has a rubber oring seal around the edge where it slides into the dash. If you have chrome trim around the stereo or on the dash this insert will not work. Also this is not a hinged cover. It is just a friction fit and if you have to access the stereo face you have to remove the cover.

I use mine only when washing my street glide because it came off when riding luckily it fell in my lap. But its great when stopped for water protection hopefully this helps your decision

Q
will it fit over the chrome radio trim ring on a 2006 ultra classic?

It will not fit with chrome trim. I have an 02 Electra glide classic and had to remove the trim.

No idea about a 2006 ultra classic. I do know it snapped around the radio area of my 2007 electric glide. To be honest it didn't fit very well or right from day one when I received it. I only had it a short time and it flew off my bike as I was riding . Very frustrating. Hope this helps.

I'd find a different product. The one I bought, I found out after the fact cruising down the freeway, was bowed and popped right out. I've tried it tabs up and down. No difference. Doesn't stay in if there happens to be moisture around the seal either. Tbh

I don't know. I have an 01 no chrome trim ring. I do know it won't stay on while riding, only good to cover the radio while parked!

I have a 2011 untra limited and mine fits perfect with the factory cut out, but I don't have the chrome trim. I put a lil velcro on mine because it was a little loose, not snug when pulling off!
