About the Scosche passPORT
If you own a 30-pin iPod touch, iPod nano, or iPhone, you probably know that you can't charge your device through a car stereo with an older charge-and-control interface. The Scosche passPORT IFWA USB charging adapter offers a simple plug-and-play solution that keeps your player charged and provides a pass-through for the audio, video and control signals to your head unit.
Simply connect the passPORT between the iPod or iPhone and the dock connector, and it'll provide safe, effective charging for the iPod touch 2nd/3rd/4th generation, iPod nano 4th/5th/6th generation, or iPhone 3G/4/4S in conjunction with most vehicle-specific and stereo-specific adapters. The passPORT does not enable audio, video or control functionality for adapters which initially did not support these features. Please see "Details" for a list of non-compatible stereos and vehicles, as well as a list of compatible iPod and iPhone models. Warranty: 1 year.
