Magnetic Smartphone Mount: The Scosche MagicMount is a new
magnetic mounting system for conveniently mounting smartphones and more. Just
hover your device near the magnetic surface and it instantly locks securely in
place. Its sleek cradle-free design uses high-powered magnets to secure your
device where you use them most. Place your device at any angle for convenient
12V Charger: Part of the Scosche MagicMount system is a
12-volt car charger which plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter or 12V
power port. The 12-volt charger has a USB (type-A) port used to connect your
mobile device's USB cable in order to charge the battery of your mounted device.
The USB charging port is rated at 7.5W/1.5A.
Installation: This magnetic smartphone system consists of a
12-volt car charger with flexible arm, magnetic bracket, and two magnetic
plates. The 12-volt car charger plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter or
12V power port. The magnetic bracket mounts to the flexible arm of the 12-volt
charger. There are two magnetic plates; one small for smartphones or smaller GPS
units, and one large for tablets or larger GPS units. The magnetic plate adheres
to the back of your device or case with 3M tape. The other side of the magnetic
plate joins to the installed magnetic bracket on the 12-volt charger's flexible
arm. Once your mobile device is mounted, you can connect your device's USB cable
to the 12-volt charger's USB (type-A) port to charger your device's battery.
Angle Adjustment: Once your device is installed on the MagicMount, you can extend, angle, swivel, rotate, or tilt your device for the
best viewing angle.
Compatibility: The Scosche MagicMount system works with
Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android smartphone/tablets, portable GPS navigators, and
other compact portable devices.
Note: Scosche does not recommend using the MagicMount system
for any device with an external hard drive (iPod Classics, Zunes, etc.).
